Without going into excessive detail, unprofessional behavior and practices from the moment they arrived. Only a few tarps were put down, missing a great deal. Clean up was spotty at best. Two weeks later and I'm still finding shingle nails. Once the crew left, I walked around the house and found numerous items that were left undone/incomplete. When I brought these issues to the attention of the gentleman that showed up to collect the check, as well as the unprofessional behavior of the crew, he was obviously annoyed that I took issue with anything. While technically not rude, he clearly did not have any interest in addressing my concerns. I even had to call their office 2 weeks after the fact because he failed to return to fix an issue he had promised to do. When he did return, I got the same annoyed attitude as the first time we met. Not even an a simple apology for forgetting to get back with me. Considering the poor work ethic I witnessed, I intend to hire a 3rd party to come and inspect the roofing work as I do not trust Knox to have done the work up to code. I very much regret hiring them and will never do so again.

When I expressed my dissatisfaction and shared pictures of the damage, the owner seemed to sympathize and sent me this message: 'No problem, I will fix things when I get back. Sometimes it can be confusing, but I have no issues replacing 3 pieces as seen. I think they did pretty good with the flooring that was and is older style. You he and forever can be tricky, but just lmk I can figure things out!' Despite this message, over a week has passed, and I still have no updates or plans on when they will follow through. To make matters worse, it became clear that their quotes don't guarantee your home will look better than before they start the job--a shocking realization. After leaving an honest review reflecting my experience, I finally got a response: 'Appreciate the 2 stars, even though we dominated and did everything perfect except 2 pieces of flooring. Have a blessed and safe day, but please ensure you're more accurate.' This response was not only unprofessional but dismissive of my concerns. This situation could have easily been resolved and my review improved with proper communication and follow-through, but the customer service was nonexistent. They advertise a 5-year parts and labor warranty, but based on this experience, it feels more like a 'tail light warranty'--good only until they're out of sight. Very disappointing. UPDATE: the owner responded with "Now 1 star!! Hahaha you know it shows you changing things right!! It's sad how you are, your the type that hide all the perfection thay was done, because someone chipped a piece of flooring in 1 piece and your demanding all new flooring!! Thanks for the love!! Good energy always!! God bless and stay safe" obviously this company isn't professional I never wanted a new floor I just wanted what was damaged fixed and was more than happy when they offered to come and fix the damaged pieces but after no follow up a week later left a bad review and he just spiraled from there. These guys only like you if you've got good things to say and do not know how to take constructive criticism. As for the warranty I would find work elsewhere, so many of these contractors pop in and out and with the treatment I've received I don't expect them to be in business in 5 years.

They took more than 50% of the quoted amount upfront, made an excessive number of errors, and failed to complete the job, leaving us with less than 1/3 of the work finished. I am extremely frustrated by the loss of over $3000 incurred on this project, not to mention the stress and disappointment caused by this company. Barr None Construction made a consistent series of errors, starting from the gross underestimation of gravel required, followed by a huge miscalculation of the project timeline (initially promised to be completed in 3 days), and further compounded by errors in estimating stone quantity for the wall, as well as unnecessary wastage of concrete. Despite the numerous mistakes, we had offered the company a chance to finish the project in a professional manner but they refused unless we provided additional funds, although we had an agreement to pay 50% upfront and the rest upon completion. They also refused to meet our deadline, despite us granting them four weeks to complete the work compared to their initial estimate of three days. I usually do not write negative reviews but I feel compelled to write this review to caution others about this company and their work ethics. I sincerely hope that no one else in the future will have to endure the frustration and financial setback we have experienced.
