For $500, he pulled out all the deep-rooted plants, disposed of them, filled in the 96'X5' divider with rocks, dirt and gravel to level it with the rest of the driveway and smoothed it out. He's not a perfectionist so you will have a tad bit of tidying to do afterwards (if your'e a perfectionist), but he's quite affordable.

When they pulled it up, they found the water had been pooling because the toilet has been leaking for over 18 months. The floor had to be completely removed and replaced. They put a non slip floor covering in the kitchen that was so rough that it wore hole 8n my socks and thir answer for pouring a concrete slab near my deck was answered by using a broken paver instead. The deck is so full of rough edges that I still get splinters if I touch the handrail. If I could, I'd give them a zero rating.

Then finally she hired someone who was a decent subcontractor but told me the she didn't pay him and told me good luck getting him to finish the job. After 3 months of screwing around with her not showing up and doing the job wrong or crying to me about her stressful life, she refused to finish the job or refund my money. I would take her to small claims if I thought she would actually pay what the court orders.

To make matters worse, it became clear that their quotes don't guarantee your home will look better than before they start the job--a shocking realization. After leaving an honest review reflecting my experience, I finally got a response: 'Appreciate the 2 stars, even though we dominated and did everything perfect except 2 pieces of flooring. Have a blessed and safe day, but please ensure you're more accurate.' This response was not only unprofessional but dismissive of my concerns. This situation could have easily been resolved and my review improved with proper communication and follow-through, but the customer service was nonexistent. They advertise a 5-year parts and labor warranty, but based on this experience, it feels more like a 'tail light warranty'--good only until they're out of sight. Very disappointing. UPDATE: the owner responded with "Now 1 star!! Hahaha you know it shows you changing things right!! It's sad how you are, your the type that hide all the perfection thay was done, because someone chipped a piece of flooring in 1 piece and your demanding all new flooring!! Thanks for the love!! God bless and stay safe" obviously this company isn't professional I never wanted a new floor I just wanted what was damaged fixed and was more than happy when they offered to come and fix the damaged pieces but after no follow up a week later left a bad review and he just spiraled from there. These guys only like you if you've got good things to say and do not know how to take constructive criticism. As for the warranty I would find work elsewhere, so many of these contractors pop in and out and with the treatment I've received I don't expect them to be in business in 5 years.

We first went to Wrede & Sons for decorative river rocks to create a rock garden in our front yard…read more For $100.00, we got 3 tons of rock, and for $35.00 they delivered it to our house. I'm not sure if they are the cheapest in town, but then, I don't think there's anyone else in town who sells a variety or rock, mulch and gravel by the ton. We went back to them to get a quote for excavating our divider. We were very impressed with how detailed and professional they were, even though they got back to us a week later and took a few more days to check-out the property. They quoted us over $800.00 for excavating our 90'X5' divider and would not do it unless we were home to supervise. We work so we can't be home, and it was $300.00 more than our cheapest quote so we went with Gritten. We're sure that Wrede & Sons would have done a prettier job, but for $300.00 less, we could tidy up ourselves. Next year, when it's time to spread fine gravel over the driveway, we're definitely going to go back to Wrede & Sons to have them deliver and rake the gravel into our very sizeable driveway.
