Another great visit! Tried the Canadian Back Bacon breakfast sandwich. Massive and great price! Made fresh! Got a couple gourmet bannocks to try at home too. Nice and quiet location. Friendly staff.

Lovely place and very sweet staff. Sad that venison bannock has been discontinued but got my eye on the wild salmon bannock for next visit.

This minimalist cafe overlooking the university and the city's North Shore is a great new addition…read moreto the Kamloops coffeescape. To be honest, I'm a little cheesed that I didn't think of this myself! In close proximity to the university, which notoriously serves sludge disguised as coffee and even caters to local businesses surrounding it. If only I had a time-machine... My standard monday-funday order is the Americano, made with Vancouver's own parallel49 beans and the chocolate croissant. At one time, I favored the Belgian waffle but upon having it served to me frozen solid (twice), I moved on to something less...pre-packaged. The sandwiches and other baked goods are good, but what you really want to go here for is the coffee. If you're in the mood for something new, try the nitrogen-infused coffee. Served in something resembling a champagne-flute, it'll give you the fancy feeling you inwardly desire while also serving up the caffeine kick in the butt you desperately need.

We came in here for a snack and some outlets to charge up our phones and laptops. The coffee bar…read morehad easily reachable outlets (turns out that some towns that I've been passing through lately either have the outlets too far away from the coffee bar or don't have any at all in the whole place?!) and the WiFi was super fast (again some towns I've recently been in on my road trip do NOT have okay WiFi; some offer it but it doesn't load at all). So I've been extra appreciative of decent work places and speedy internet. :) I had a thai chicken wrap (which was yummy!) and something to drink, forgot what, and the boyfriend had a carnivore wrap and a milkshake with two shots of espresso. He says the wrap was okay, and the milkshake was pretty good.
