Don't do business with Maui Pumping. They are total ripoffs…read more When my usual service provider were unavailable I called Maui Pumping Services to pump my tenants cesspool and they quoted $586. They arrived that afternoon with a truck smaller than usual. It usually takes about an hour to completely empty the cesspool but 15 minutes later he tells my tenants he's done, truck is full and he would need another truck to completely empty the cesspool. Tenants say ok and pay the $586 and assumed he would return to complete the job. Which he never did. 3 weeks later my tenants call to say cesspool overflowed again then proceeds to tell me it was only pumped halfway the first time and the guy never came back. I call the company and tell them it's overflowing again and the guy didn't completely empty the cesspool the 1st time. They apologize and promised to send a truck up that day at no cost. I go to the house and waited there all day to make sure it's done right this time. They finally call and say he's on his way from Wailuku. Then 10min later they call back and all of a sudden comes up with some bs saying the reason it wasn't completely emptied the 1st time is because it sometimes takes 2-3 trucks to completely empty and we only paid for 1 load. Then starts telling me something about gallons. I stop her there and tell her dont talk to me about gallons....when I called to have the cesspool pumped the 1st time they told me $585 to have it pumped and my expectation was that it would be completely emptied. Nobody said anything about gallons or the price is per truck. This is a complete scam. She then says he can still come out today but I would have to pay another $586. I immediately tell her I'm not paying for him to come out again. I then call my usual service provider Kekai's Pumping who said he can come out the next morning and before I could say anything he immediately tells me his big truck isnt available but he will take 2 loads with the small truck for the normal price which is less than i paid these other guys. Thank you Kekai's Pumping...appreciate you! Don't use Maui Pumping Services...they have no integrity and have very questionable business tactics.

He returned my call within the hour, provided me with a ballpark quote for my system size (access, content, location, and others factors are cost variables). I figured we'd set date before I have guests over in the next week. Nope - he said he'd be over same day if I'm ready. I cleared shrubs, removed lid covers and made it easy to het to the covers (he would have done all that). He and Vinny showed up, clean, professional, happy, and just overall solid. They pumped, cleaned, and put everything back in a relatively short period of time. Wastewater is wastewater but it doesn't have to be an unpleasant experience - call Blessed Wastewater Solutions. I've worked with many wastewater contractors and Blessed Wastewater Solutions is one of the good guys.

The manhole is about 100 feet from the surf, behind the big fenced warehouse . I actually called this in and the Maui Police Desk Officer said this is allowed by the city council because the sewer pipe at that spot Goes to sea five miles. Which I seriously doubt. Think of gravity and the angle that would need. I can t believe it This company should be going to water treatment plant pump out and paying his fee. Update SEPTEMBER 2023…read more. I have been asked by a Yelper on Maui to remove this review. She correctly revealed that this particular manhole used by this Permitted sewage recovery company is legal. They estimate the amount offloaded and roughly pay 110.00 per 1000 gallons. Average truck holds 3300 gallons. Honor pay. This particular manhole connects to piping and sewage treatment similar to the sewer pipes on the mainland. The violation we are left with is the driver pulled out the 4 inch corrugated hose before this gravity fed dump was complete. Thus sending a significant amount of effluent onto the surrounding sand in a grove of trees within sight of the sea and no warning signs for locals, pets or children. Easy to see, it's black. Since that sloppiness falls under the term of dumping and becomes a Federal issue They will look at drivers and trucks for that date and follow up. This is a WAY overdue review. These guys are AWESOME. I had a sewer pump station die after 20…read moreyears. This was a few days before I had a whole house full of guests. I call Daryl and Sean. They came immediately and realized that both the pump and the backup pump had failed due to a rope degrading and getting caught in the pump motor. When they built the house, they didn't install grinder pumps. The most heavy duty grinder pumps are Liberty Pumps. I was going to have them sent in by FedEx overnight, but Sewer Solutions had them brand new from another job that were provided to them for a large commercial job that really needed even bigger grinder pumps. They sold me two, 1-hp Liberty Grinder Pumps at their cost plus shipping. Instead of waiting even 2 days to bring them in by FedEx (these are about 40 lbs each), they brought them over the next day with a standby electrician to wire everything to code. If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would. Fast, honest, hard-working and fair. THE BEST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD WITH A REPAIR OF THIS MAGNITUDE -- HANDS DOWN!
