Despite having patients, people they were getting prescriptions ready for, taking calls, and whatnot, both Amy and Dr. Ogden were nearby to answer some of my most basic questions. I was reassured over and over that although my insurance told me I would not be covered, by someone named Janelle that 'I promise you, it's ok and we'll take care of billing it correctly so it will be covered. If the staff doesn't do it correctly, ask for me". Well, it wasn't AND there are apparently two Janelle's in the office... so no one wanted to take responsibility for the statement made. Do yourself a favor and go into Gresham or the other Sandy eye clinic. I will tell everyone I know that they need to avoid this clinic - not because of the care, but because of their billing/sheistyness/and dishonest staff. I just paid 140.00 more for their services when I was told many times there would not be extra charges because of the way they would bill my insurance. Just don't do it. P.S. They use deceptive practices including setting up actual appointment times for you without you even requesting one. When I expressed surprise at having an appointment day and time set up for me without my request, the receptionist said they just do it annually for the clients. When I finally decided to ask for an appointment two years later, they didn't return my email for over 2 weeks. I'm going elsewhere from now on.
