After a day at Ausable Chasm we were starving. Gigi's was the closest place so we swung by. Yikes. The food was mostly inedible, honestly. We had buffalo and grilled chicken wraps. The chicken was a a peculiar texture and appearance -- not the kind of chicken you feel good about eating after a bite or two. French onion soup was pretty gnarly (I take some responsibility for ordering this -- probably not the right place). Fries and everything else were just kinda not so great. Grilled cheese was the highlight. Which tells the story of this place -- if you do try it -- order something they can't mess up. FWIW -- the ladies running this place were lovely! The staff had very friendly ladies and the aesthetic here is so cute and comfortable, I truly felt like I was visiting a friend and a guest in someone's home. While waiting for food, I got to walk around to the patio and the backyard to take these great shots! (The patio seats were taken shortly after I took the picture by a large family, also enjoying this establishment). The chicken quesadilla I had was filling! The favorite amongst us was the meat loaf- surprisingly a little sweet? Very tasty! This really does seem like a great place to relax and pop open some drinks to share though.
