Dana (owner) is an excellent dog trainer/behaviorist so all her staff is very knowledgeable. They strongly believe in positive re-enforcement based methods so you can be assured that your dog is treated with love and respect here. I have never seen anyone even raise their voice at a dog here or even look like they were having a rough day. What also stands out about FB's is the care and attention that the staff takes. The large play area is always clean, has lots of toys, and dog play is always monitored by at least two people. The staff is very proactive about keeping the dogs engaged and active as well as understanding when dogs need a break. At the end of each day, we get a report on what our dog did and who she played with (never get tired of hearing chronicles of Maxine). Our dog has had pretty bad stomach issues so sometimes they need to give her meds and food at odd times - they have never missed a beat. They actually have had very useful recommendations on what could help with her health issues. As for the pricing - it is competitively priced and worth every penny. On a side note, Dana has excellent classes on doggy manners and dog signals. Also, some of the staff does dog sitting on the side. I highly recommend Brooke and Hannah for this.

I'm not sure. Other than that I have no complaints. Although, it would be nice to have cameras installed throughout the facility so we could see the dogs playing virtually!

Even when Jennifer is unavailable, my little poofs get walked by another person from the staff and I'm always shocked at how much I like the rest of the team too (because I am very attached to Jen!!!). They have all been so clearly skilled and passionate about pups and my critters always look like they're having a good time with them in the photos. I couldn't recommend this company enough. Besides the amazing people who walk the dogs, this company also has features that make me feel secure -- like the gps map of where the dog walkers went with my pups and a timestamp of when they started and ended. I am very thankful at the ease of making the arrangements and being able to check references, as well as completing an in person meet and greet. Heather is very responsive to all forms of communication. My cats are deathly afraid of people, but Heather was able to send me pictures of them hiding under the bed every day. She made the pick up and drop off of the key super easy and was available to work on a holiday. I appreciate the ability to pay online as well. I also like that she had us sign paperwork for vet treatment as needed ahead of time. We're planning another trip in October and looking forward to seeing if she is successful at getting them to interact with her.

She took the time to understand my dog's needs, her motivations, and how to best work with her. While I was in China for 10 days, Heather and her team were very accommodating and responsive with working with my boyfriend to take care of her. They took her for walks in the middle of the day, and texted my boyfriend a report each day with how it went. They gave her treats (with our permission) and lots of pets after each walk- so I know my dog was living the life of luxury! I was really thankful for Puget Paws, and would recommend them to anyone! For the service Dog Training we train at both locations. It is nice that she comes to our house once a week rather than us having to travel to her location only. Highly recommend. During his stay, I received updates about his progress with training. The facility itself was clean, spacious, and smelled fresh--always a good sign in a boarding environment. What impressed me most was how happy and relaxed my dog was when I picked him up. He wasn't stressed, anxious, or overly tired--instead, he seemed like he'd been on a vacation of his own. His bedding was clean, his food portions had been managed exactly as instructed. Im glad I found a great place for dog training and boarding as well as sitting in Mukilteo. A blond woman was opening the van to put a large dog in while cursing and yelling. After smacking numerous dogs and telling them to get back, she shoved the dog she had leashed in the van and yelled "I'm sick of this shit!" As a long time dog owner, I've never felt it necessary to smack a dog around for any reason. It's counterproductive to their learning experiences and only builds fear or aggression. Screaming at a dog will also give you those results. For a business that advertises "Fun, freedom, friends, places to go and butts to smell", you'd think they'd be kind to their furry clients. Just a heads up to anyone considering this service. It doesn't look like the human in charge has her head on straight.
