We met Shelby to discuss the general flow, what we wanted and how she could help us. She also attended our wedding rehearsal to get to know the venue. I could thank Shelby enough for doing this for us because being able to have our 2 dogs joining us on our wedding day was simply priceless! While we were trying to take photos with our dogs after the ceremony, they were distracted by all the people around them and were not looking at the camera. It can be a gamble when giving someone access to your home. Asking that person to take care of your family (pets) brings it up a notch. Carrie immediately won my parents over (not an easy feat) with her bubbly personality and clear passion for animals. We use Carrie's services when my parents travel. I am the go-to overnight pet-sitter for them but due to my long, unpredictable work hours, Carrie will come over 1-2 times daily to walk and feed Sadie. Carrie does not charge extra when my dog Bentley is there and takes him along on walks. Each visit Carrie leaves an adorable note on the counter with a recap. My parents dog (Sadie) is extremely fearful due to an abusive past owner. Carrie has won her over with patience and treats. This note is one of my favorites from Carrie: Sadie did excellent on our walks!! She and Bentley were so happy to see me each time I came. Sarah kept Lucy in her bedroom at bedtime, and even took her to an outdoor event so she would not be alone. I have picture of Lucy on a picnic blanket looking very happy. I new every minute I was away that my dog was being cared for as if I were doing the caring. Now really, who could ever ask for more than that? Piles of dog poo all over the house So much pee he had to remove our bedroom rug from the house completely Damage to windows from dog scratching to get out Dog's voice is hoarse, and she is very fearful We called Caroline and she claimed to be on her way back to our house. We told her about the conditions our friend had described and asked her to drop off the keys. Then she changes her story a bunch of times (she is at a nearby client's house; no, actually she's at home in Bothell) and ultimately says she can't get to our house that evening at all and will mail the keys. The exchange that followed included: Indignance: "How dare you accuse me!" Lying: "your dog has been going crazy and peeing on the floor for days!" (and you didn't think to mention that in your daily messages..?) Weird rambling emails, including a late night warning about a glitch in airline reservation systems A call to us from the Rover.com emergency line because Caroline had contacted them saying she was very worried about whether anyone was caring for our pets since we had fired her (thanks for your concern I guess??) She promised to mail back the two keys we provided but only sent 1, so we had to change the locks in addition to repairing damage to our home. Calling All Paws is now using photos of our pets alongside fake glowing reviews on their website.
