When the appointment was over, they told me they were taking him to the back to trim his nails and to get him used to the back in case it was ever needed. They said they do this every appointment. 20 minutes after he had been taken back, I asked what the hold up was and they let me know it's their unofficial policy to let every single staff member pet puppies. "It's the puppy tax" they said. They have never taken him into the back or trimmed his nails again. Not cute or amusing when you need to get back to your job. They send out confusing and incorrect emails about flea/parasite medications needing to be updated. I also took my puppy in as he was having some diarrhea. They took a $250 fecal sample, told me it was positive and charged me another $200+ for medication to cure it. A week or so later - I get an email letting me know Oopsie!! He was negative and their system was telling them he was positive to a test he had taken from his first apt ever there (which we were told was negative!) The cherry on top was receiving a quote for his neutering for $2,000 weeks after i had booked the appointment. Save your money and find literally any other vet.

They informed us that they hadn't even STARTED on her cleaning. 6 hours she was there, and they did absolutely nothing. NOTHING. Due to the procedure she didn't have any food or water since the night before. We decided to go and pick her up, since she wouldn't be done for multiple hours, and hadnt had any food/water since yesterday. I arrived around 3pm to pick her up. I'm not a confrontational person but i felt the need to say something, because this unacceptable. The owner FOLLOWED ME OUT TO MY CAR to lecture me on why she couldn't have food/water. I know, i'm not stupid. There is NO reason why they couldn't have called to tell us they were running late, or to update us, my sweet dog was stuck in a crate for 6 hours, for no reason cause they didn't even do anything. She is visibly distressed, still hasn't ate or drank anything since being home, and is not acting like herself at all. You guys are horrible. Treating an animal poorly is a different kind of sick. Never coming back.

My recent vet bill from there was over $800, and I have pet insurance, which covered less than 10% of the bill. The convenience of this vet is great, but I may need to consider getting my dog's services elsewhere due to the exorbitant costs here.

The drop-off was quick and straightforward, and they contacted me within a week or so to let me know everything was ready. When I went in to pick up, the package provided several meaningful keepsakes, including a nose print, paw print stamp, some of her fur, a clay paw imprint, and her urn (I chose the biodegradable option). The pricing was very reasonable, and now I have beautiful mementos to remember Pepper by. I'm grateful for the care and compassion they showed during one of the hardest moments a pet owner can experience.

This is the same person I spoke to on the phone on Monday and made the appointment with. They did not apologize for their mistake. They wanted to schedule me to come in at a later date. After calling the hospital we had taken her to last time (Blue Pearl in Kirkland) who didn't have capacity they sweetly recommended this spot. I called and they were able to get us in and we were seen a few times by a friendly vet assistant and a kind doctor over the span of an hour. They are open from 11 am - 11 pm daily and now know this is a good alternative when I can't get her into see her regular vet during the day. The room and clinic were so clean. The entrance honestly made me feel as though I was heading for a spa appointment with the soothing music, plants, and nice scent.

That being said, I didn't have a great experience with the follow interactions. A couple days after my appointment My cat wasn't eating the prescription food I had bought from them. I had tried multiple flavors/types and was at a loss on how to get him to eat again. I called pacific city and the receptionist was short with me and interrupted me and said I should "absolutely not" mix any of his old food in with his new prescription food. When she finally offered to ask one of the vet techs for me (what I had called for originally), the vet tech gave the *same* advice that I had initially suggested. It's clear that the receptionist was not qualified to be giving me such strong advice. However, other people I interacted with were generally very friendly! I did feel like they made an effort to up sell products/services that may not have been necessary? I am always thankful that pacific city was available for me, but I think these bad experiences have discouraged me from being a regular patient.

Two maltipoos - I had several pleasant interactions with her before I got my two boys. I love my two boys. I hope it's not true and she is still breeding dogs because I truly love both of my dogs they are wonderful dogs and very special. Everyone has bad experiences with breeders - my sister once bought a yorkie from a breeder to only have to pass away shortly after she took it home. Don't judge a breeder by one or two bad reviews but do your own due diligence.
