I'm actually quite surprised at the average rating here, as we really enjoyed our dinner! Came in here based on convenience, as it is located right by where we were staying (lots of hotels around here). The honey bee concept is cute, and we did try a couple dishes specifically with the honey symbol. - Honey Gochujang chicken wings. Delicious! Served HOT and the sticky sauce highlighted the honey nicely. - Fish and Chips. Huge portion of fish! Very nicely done. The fish was flaky and thick and the batter was perfectly light and crispy. I actually loved this fish. Chips were thick and potato-y. Served with tartar sauce, but we doused with malt vinegar which was also available. - Streaky bacon wrapped pork fillet with mashed potatoes, broccoli, and a honey truffle red wine sauce. This was super tasty! I loved the flavor of the sauce, and I felt like everything was cooked well. Only thing that I think would have made the meal better - more vegetables! I loved the broccolini that came with the pork dish. The fish & chips didn't have any (not even peas).

Disappointing Experience at Keepers London Service was lackluster especially from the older male host working this Tuesday afternoon. He seemed disinterested and dismissive, as if the job was beneath him. Things like asking for still water and him bringing sparkling instead, observing him forgetting which table an item was going to despite there only being 4 other occupied tables to serve in the entire restaurant, etc. The food was even worse. I ordered the chicken wings and chips -- the wings were barely cooked and the chips were shockingly underdone. How do you mess up chips!? Especially in London!?? They were hard and inedible, like the potatoes hadn't been cooked at all -- if I'd thrown them through a window, they probably could've broken the glass. The only redeeming part of the visit was one of the female servers, who was genuinely kind. She was understanding when I expressed frustration about the food and her attitude was a small bright spot in an otherwise disappointing meal.

Came here for dinner and the food was average. I had the fish and chips my wife had the chicken. My fish and chips was very large my wife's chicken was average. I felt very full after, but I will not need to come back here during this trip. Plenty of other places around here to eat at.

My husband and I came here right around 10pm. It was walking distance from our hotel (CitizensM Tower of London). He really wanted fish and chips since it was our first time in London. However the kitchen closes right at 10pm but thankfully our server (Biruk, or Vaduk, not sure how to spell it) was able to make an exception for us. He was SO nice and welcoming and made our experience a 10/10 at this restaurant. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips and added fresh chili peppers and Tabasco. I liked my pizza, it was thin and not too much bread.

Really spacious without being cavernous. An eclectic mix of tables and chairs to suit everyone. When I was here, there were young (well behaved!) families, couples and business people. I've been here solo for a coffee on the laptop, and also eating with friends. There is no awkwardness if you're on your own and only want a drink. Service is simply great! Quick, friendly and mega efficient. Love the decor, a small Des feet TV at the bar with sports on, but light music being background played. Am absolute must if you're in the area.

A nice clean place with good service and good food. We got a couple of simple appetizers. Food was good. Fried. But sauces were a little lacking.

However, it was a whopping 93 GBP for 600g, which is meant to share between 2 people, but still not that much (refer to my pic). This is simply just too high of a price for this. Bone marrow and onions (12 GBP) - This was surprisingly good. Although the marrow itself didn't have much of a flavor, it was a nice buttery consistency to spread on the bread. The onions were cooked very well. Sticky Toffee Pudding (9.50 GBP) - This was more of a bread like dessert than a pudding, but was tasty and not overly sweet despite the toffee (which is good). The staff are very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The service speed is pretty quick. The interior is decorated in a nice yet not too pretentious steakhouse style. There were still plenty of open tables available on a Sunday night. Overall, while the steak and food are very good, the steak is simply too overpriced to justify me getting it again. Maybe worth trying once but not twice. I would potentially come back for the other menu options though.

I've been looking forward to visiting Duck & Waffle for quite some time. The views are incredible,…read morethe space itself is striking, and on paper it promises that perfect London mix of skyline, late-night energy, and elevated comfort food. Unfortunately, our experience was soured before it even had a chance to begin. My girlfriend and I walked in excited, completely amicable, simply hoping to head upstairs for a bite and drinks. We were greeted by the doorman with an immediate, dismissive "Are you good?" -- not in a welcoming or helpful tone, but in a way that felt skeptical and unnecessarily confrontational. There was no warmth, no "welcome in," no attempt at hospitality. It immediately set an uncomfortable tone. He then proceeded to call upstairs as though he were doing us some sort of favor just by allowing us to go up. The entire interaction felt transactional and judgmental rather than gracious. First impressions matter, especially at a place that positions itself as a premium dining destination. Hospitality begins at the door, not at the table. When we finally made it upstairs, the room was filled with visibly drunk, rowdy groups -- which only made the earlier attitude feel even more misplaced. If that environment is acceptable (and profitable), then two polite guests looking for drinks and food shouldn't be met with suspicion at the entrance. By that point, the damage was done. The initial interaction had already rubbed us the wrong way, and the energy upstairs didn't help. We ultimately decided to leave before even sitting at our table. That's how strongly the first impression impacted us. It's difficult to justify staying somewhere when you don't feel genuinely welcomed from the outset. Duck & Waffle has the potential to be memorable for all the right reasons. But someone representing the brand at the very front needs to understand that hospitality isn't optional -- it's foundational. A simple, respectful welcome would have changed everything. I hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should feel judged or dismissed before they even step inside.

I just have to say in general, everyone at this hotel and pub are just extraordinarily friendly and helpful. I'm not that familiar with pub culture and apparently the way it works is that you have to go up to the bar to order your food. I asked the hostess about it and she said that if we want a waitress there is an added service charge. We were on three walking tours that day and we're exhausted so I didn't care about paying the service charge. We started off with Yorkshire, puddings and gravy. I'm from the US. I don't usually get to have a Yorkshire pudding so I wanted to try it. It's kind of like a popover with gravy. The Yorkshire pudding was okay but the gravy was delicious. I saved the gravy and used it for the next part of my meal. We both had fish and chips. Unlike the US when I ask for malt vinegar, they know what it was and had it right away. I can't tell you how often in the US I'm giving red vinegar. The the fish and chips were spectacular. The fish was crispy even after sprinkling on the vinegar. The fries were very nice. Not as good as blacklock but very nice. And I am fry snob. My wife ordered sticky toffee pudding for dessert. I couldn't even finish my fries, so I passed. Overall a very nice meal and perfect for us as we were exhausted from walking all day and only had to go upstairs to our room afterwards.
