One of those things has been tooth pain and finding out I needed to have a root canal before leaving. I was referred to Uzzel Dental Group by a friend and they were able to schedule to see me within two weeks. Dr. Uzzel is the most gentle, kind, and exceptionally talented Dentist I have ever been treated by. He and his staff have been clear with all that is going on and how they would treat it. Dr. Kristy Bultema at Beavercreek Endodontics who he referred to perform my root canal itself was warm and comforting (even after having some not so fun side effects from the numbing agent) and did an amazing job. Then to top it all off due to some PCSing gymnastics I had to wait at Dr. Uzzel's office for a couple of hours after walking across the street from having my root canal done to put the permanent crown on and his staff has been absolutely amazing. (To reiterate the wait was not their fault it was due to PCSing fun. If anything it was a huge favor to squeeze me in before our out processing date.) His staff has taken care of me all morning. Treating me like family. Even giving me snacks and making sure I have been comfortable. Additionally, I had a beautiful connection with a fellow patient that was extremely encouraging. This made eating very difficult and painful. My dentist recommended dr Monga at this location. Tmj is expensive and difficult to try and fix. Medical and dental insurance dont cover it. So it was thousands of dollars. Needed physical therapy. If tmj is your issue highly recommend insisting on Chris for therapy. I tried several other therapists and the only one id recommend is Chris. After alot of time and money my tmj is finally much better. Nice to be able to occasionally eat popcorn or steak. Great to not have daily pain. Dr monga was very kind. Really liked her. I guess not many places know what to do for tmj so if thats your issue highly recommend her. Wish I would have dealt with it earlier so things wouldn't have gotten so bad..

Once the cleaning was complete, the doctor came in to do an full neck/oral exam. Right away, he said to call him by his first name, and started chatting about school and such with her. He did his exam, and put our mind at rest about the way a few teeth were growing in, then gave a heads up that there might be a very slight overlap with a few teeth as she gets her wisdom teeth. He was very open about the cost of orthodontics to treat this, and said that he really wouldn't recommend spending that kind of money on something that will hardly be noticeable. When my turn came, I had the same level of exemplary service. I have a few obscure medical conditions, but Dr Roddy knew both of them immediately, and discussed how they can affect my bite/joints. I was astounded at his knowledge, and impressed that he knew how these conditions could potentially affect my oral health. I really can't say enough positive things about the staff overall.
