Found them through Angie's List and got a coupon for $15 off. Very easy to schedule with them. The girls arrived on time and did a good job. There was some mix-up about the amount they were going to charge me but 1 call to Rayleen, the owner, and we got that sorted out. Given this billing mix-up and the fact that I was shorted by 30 minutes of cleaning (15 minutes since two girls came to clean the place), I decided to give 4 stars and not 5. I recently moved to Philadelphia and was looking to get my first cleaning done that my home had ever had (It is new construction, so its mostly just dusty if anything as I have no children or pets and my husband and I are rarely even home). The staff was extremely friendly and trustworthy however the reason for my low review is the cost. They charge a high hourly rate (I think it's around $115/hour) or something crazy like that, and then they will nickel and dime each minute after the first 60 minutes. I decided to give them a try due to the great reviews but I guess my expectations were too high. Let's just say I can clean my house just as well, and save myself $150, which is what I will be doing moving forward. When the staff called to learn about our recent experience, my husband shared his feedback, and it was not well received. Like I said, the staff is fine and nice/trustworthy, but in my opinion this is a rip off and if your house is pretty clean to begin with and you don't mind dusting/swiffering a little then save your $$$. read more

I have been looking for a cleaning service to come out every other week to maintain a clean home. I called to schedule a cleaning and told the lady I had two small dogs. One of the ladies that showed up to clean acted deathly afraid of dogs. After I put my dogs in the backyard, They then rushed through the cleaning, leaving after 40 minutes. There was still dust under the bed and dirt behind the sink faucet! I could and should have cleaned myself. I was still charged $129.60. When I spoke to the receptionist she explained that this is the minimum amount they can charge. After much back and forth she promised to have a different team come back out after the holidays. Well, four months later they still haven't made it right. I can let it go now after warning others. Do not use this service unless you want to pay a lot of money for minimal cleaning effort. read more

I cannot rave enough about this cleaning service. I made my first appointment when I was moving out of my old house and just wanted a decent clean so I made sure to get my security deposit back. Due to a last minute family emergency had to cancel my clean and both Mindy and Raylene could not have been nicer about it. Then when I was back they made sure to get me into the first possibly appointment time. I was told that I would have three cleaners for $113 an hour, and only two showed up. Not a big deal at all, I wasn't bothered. The whole thing took an hour and a half but when they called to get my final price, they only charged me for an hour because if there were three people that's how long it would've taken. I got a woman named Theresa on Team 4, so ask for them! They were quick, thorough, and truly the nicest. Not only that but I got a call from Mindy afterwards to make sure I was happy with the job that they did. So I've been skeptical of home cleaning companies but did my research and chose Keep It Clean with Raylene based on reviews. I needed someone to come in a clean b/c I was super busy this month and last month and my mom was coming from out of town. I called and was happily surprised by a peppy voice on the other end of the line. She gave me all of the info and answered all of my questions. Although they don't work on the weekends, they do use three people each time. The price was right and the day before my cleaning the office called to confirm and tell me that although they usually have three cleaners, I would only be getting two BUT they would give me a 1/2 hour for free every hour which I was OK with. The day of the cleaning the team (team 4!) was 5 minutes early and took three hours to clean about 1,200 square feet of my house. They cleaned all of the ceiling fans, ceiling corners, under all of the furniture, all of the surfaces, my toaster oven!, mopped the floors, did the dishes, scrubbed everything in the bathroom, and cleaned the blinds (and lots of other stuff that you'd expect). The whole time, the two cleaners worked hard and didn't do a lot of talking to me or one another and I was able to go about my morning without disruption. They asked questions when they had them and they encouraged me to look over their work so they could get everything right. I did ask them to redo something and they did and it was great! I also want to mention that I have a 25 lb dog who loves, loves, loves people and the cleaners were great with him. They threw his toy when he nudged it near them and they talked to him in puppy talk when he sat in their way. My mom was there for the cleaning too and gave it her seal of approval (important right?). I would have preferred to have them come on the weekend but despite that, they did a great job and I will definitely have them come back. They do give a discount if you schedule for bi-weekly cleanings but I'm not sure that I need that but I will ask them back once a season. Pros- Great prices Friendly and hardworking staff Prompt! My husband and I recently moved to Philadelphia and were looking for a cleaning service to use. I had used another cleaning service a few months ago and wasn't happy with the thoroughness of the cleaning, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I called Keep it Clean with Raylene. Mindy answered the phone and was very professional. She answered all of my questions and was very easy to talk to. She also called me the day before the appointment to confirm, which I appreciated. On the day of the cleaning, the two women showed up right on time. They were extremely thorough and professional. I also liked the fact that they asked me if I had particular areas of the house that I wanted them to focus on. They also asked me if it was ok if they touched certain religious idols, which I thought was very considerate. Our house is now pretty spotless, and my husband and I are very pleased with the job that they did. I also appreciated the fact that Mindy called me after the cleaning to follow up and make sure that I was happy. I have utilized several cleaning services over the last several years and this is the first time I have received a follow up call. Just as a point of reference, I try not to give out five stars just because there might be something better and/or cheaper. I'm like an Olympic gymnastics judge. I did not deduct a start for any particular reason. With that out of the way, I would say that my wife and I were happy with Raylene from start to finish. Customer service in scheduling and understanding our needs (we tried to schedule on short notice) were fantastic and the actually cleaning was thorough. Difficult to reach areas were addressed and each room looked substantially cleaner. We just moved in and did a lot of remodeling so we were also pleased that there were no nicks, scuffs or other minor damage. I will certainly not hesitate to use this service again and I would recommend them. We had a two hour engagement, for approximately 1,800 sq ft with two women that cost us approximately $150. After having a repeated, negative experience with United Maid of America, I lost hope in home cleaning. The quality of their service was somewhat good, but the professionalism was incredibly lacking. This woman saved our asses. We were moving and ran out of time to clean our apartment before going out of town right before our landlord did the final inspection. She was able to squeeze us in and cleaned our apartment while we were away. When we walked in with our landlord for the final walk though, we saw the apartment for the first time - it was spotless. You could have performed surgery in the oven it was so clean. She successfully removed two years of dog hair from our floors and baseboards. The refrigerator and freezer were sparkling. I would be willing to certainly give "Keep it Clean with Raylene" a try, except that they're perpetually unavailable! Their 'customer service' reps are also extremely vague about availability to the point of being unprofessional and even cryptic. I have called twice this week to ask about a cleaning. The first time, the woman on the phone told me that she would get back to me, like within the next few minutes. I gave her my name and number and waited 24 hours (thankfully not by the phone) and she did not. The next time I called, they left me hanging AGAIN. I asked if they were available within the next two weeks and the woman on the phone THIS time (who could very well have been the same person I spoke to the first time) said that they were booked through the Labor Day holiday. Does that stop you from making an appointment like a week in advance? I don't think that's too out of the question. I understand that you're a "busy" and very "Important" cleaning service in the area, but really? I was given conflicting and vague information both times I called to inquire about their cleaning service. read more

I honestly think they didn't do a horrible job cleaning, it obviously could have been a little better however, what got me was their pricing. They told me on the phone one price and when they were finished it was another. They really weren't there cleaning more than 65 minutes. I think the ladies that cleaned were friendly, but nothing frustrates and upsets me more than being nickeled and dime for more than what was promised. I used this cleaning service for several months and found the office staff to be, with out fail, rude every single time I spoke with them. I understand things can get busy and it's easy to let it out on the next person that happens to be calling, but there comes a point that you have to realize that you're speaking to YOUR customers. Even upon cancelling my service, they proceeded to give me attitude and did not once ask if there was anything they could do to keep my service. I am very happy with Keep it Clean with Raylene! They have been very flexible and worked with us until we found a cleaning schedule that was right for us. The office manager is very personable and sometimes Raylene herself answers the phone! The ladies that come to clean the house seem to do good job, although we've never tried another cleaning service so I don't really have a comparison to make. I must admit, it is awesome to come home to a clean house! And the price seems very reasonable (we compared around a little but did not do extensive research). Overall, I will stick with them. I called Raylene after having surgery and was unable to carry things including a vacuum up my stairs. She responded right away and we made an appointment for as soon as the hospital bed was removed. My house had gone undusted and vacuumed for many weeks. They called the day before to reconfirm appointment and then called to tell me they would arrive withing 1/2 hour on the day of.
