My AC went out the last day of August and Keefe's was able to get someone out the same day to fix my unit. A part was needed and that took overnight but within 24 hours of placing the call to Keefe's my air conditioner was fixed and I'm back in business. My technician was Timothy and he was amazing. He was knowledgeable, very friendly and did an excellent job. I only had to pay the $49 diagnostic fee. Luckily my repairs were still covered under warranty and I have a plan with them that covers 100% of labor. if in the market for a new air-conditioning system, I highly recommend Keefe's and feel their annual maintenance plan is a great value. read more

I had terrible service and was charged over $800 and did not fix the problem at all! Tried to give the company an opportunity to rectify the issue but called four times over the past week and you cannot speak to anyone over HVaC dept. It goes to the Escalation Team and no one calls you back! Definitely would not recommend this company. Worst HVAC company I ever used! Go somewhere else! I was sucked in by the $55 cleaning special then they say something is wrong, overcharged you then don't even fix problem and will not rectify problem The picture is the glob of $5.00 foam they sprayed for $800 read more

Dear Keefe's Team, I want to sincerely thank you for the outstanding service I have recently received. David has been extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Cuong is, without question, the best HVAC technician I have experienced in 40 years of home ownership. His knowledge, courtesy, and quality of work are exceptional. Desa also provided excellent, professional service with the generator installation. Although I had a disappointing experience with Keefe's about three years ago, I am very glad we gave your company another chance. Your team has restored my confidence in Keefe's. David, Cuong, and Desa represent your company extremely well, and I wanted to make sure their excellent work was recognized. Thank you again! Terry Terrebonne read more

I purchased my whole home generator new and have had it for only 10 months, but I am already experiencing problems. The technician for Keefe's Air Conditioning Heating Electrical Generator & Plumbing placed a part on my generator on 7.21.26. During our discussion regarding the defective part, I asked for his name so I could address him properly. He stated that he was not going to tell me his name. I later contacted the office and found out his name is Samuel. Further, management does not return calls. Several weeks ago, I contacted Nathan, whom I was told was on vacation, and left a message. I contacted him three times after his return; however, he has yet to contact me. Both situations are examples of poor customer service and a lack of accountability. Given Keefe's business practices, I would not refer anyone to them. read more

I had a new HVAC system installed almost two months ago. The service technicians were very nice, knowledgeable, and worked through some bad weather conditions. It took about 12 hours to complete the installation, and I had every intention of leaving them a great review, but I simply never got around to it. Fast forward to today, and I am extremely disappointed. I woke up to find my brand-new A/C system not cooling, with the temperature inside my home reaching 88 degrees. I cannot understand how a system that is less than 60 days old is already experiencing issues. I contacted Keefe's around noon and was told a technician would be at my home between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM. However, about three hours later, I received a call informing me that they would not be able to service my unit today because their technicians were tied up on a large repair job. As a customer, this is incredibly frustrating. I have two small children in the home, the indoor temperature is approaching 90 degrees, and this is a system I paid approximately $16,000 for less than two months ago. While I understand emergencies happen, I would expect a company to prioritize a customer whose brand-new system has completely stopped working, especially given the extreme indoor temperatures and the presence of young children. I am very disappointed with this situation!! read more

Keefe's reps specialize in upselling - replacing minor or major components of heating, cooling or plumbing systems. Every rep during a year's service contract found fault and recommended replacement. A drip in the basin was to solved with a $512 replacement of the pop up basin stopper. A blister heat exchanger to be replaced along with our entire AC. (Another company's rep could not find any such blister on our heat exchanger.) Keefe's rep apparently showed up a photo of someone else's heater. Fraud!!!!!!!!! Do not use Keefe's since their objective is sell something that is not needed at a very expensive price. read more

We love Juan St. Cyre! He explained every step, answered all our questions, didn't pressure us to purchase addtional parts, and was tidy with his tasks. Thanks Keefe's! read more

Tech was supposed to arrive between 11 and 2. Only one call at 2 saying they were running behind. When they arrived at 6:25 PM (SIX TWENTY FIVE PM--FOUR AND A HALF HOURS AFTER THE WINDOW), my husband had already returned home and figured out the problem. Then wanted to charge us for them arriving, despite us being on hold with the office for a half hour to cancel. read more

We purchased an HVAC which is 6 months old and has now shut off due to drainage clog and then started draining into my downstairs guest bedroom. They stated that the new units need a larger return and they would do this as they should have caught the issue when installing the new unit. Issue occurred over the weekend. It is now Thursday and I can't get anyone to return my call. I have called every day multiple times, and an email sent. The lack of urgency to fix this problem is concerning. read more

This was hands down the best experience I have had with any company in 40 years. The office was extremely helpful and friendly while helping me on such short notice with the service requested. I received texts letting me know the tech was on his way. Darnell Charles was on time, fast, knowledgeable, and explained everything easy for anyone to understand. I was also provided a list of options to choose from so I get the exact results I want. The prices were fair. This was a flawless service and I highly recommend this business as your first call. You're not just paying for something to be done. You're also paying for stress free peace of mind. read more

Getting real tired of this company. On a customer service note technicians are great and reliable for the most part. As a company reliability not the best, kind of bad TBH. Got a new AC from them inside and out. The inside unit was installed on an old pice of wood causing the unit to lean and the float trap to keep tripping. Got someone out here to fix it. But had to pay for there mess up. ( side note I did get my money back but it was a process to do so.) Had them come out for my semi annual inspection. They asked me if we can reschedule due to emergency and they will give me a $75 credit (which I said yes to.) When it was time for them to reschedule my appointment window was from 8-11am ( no communication) the technician was running late (which is fine I get it things happen, but again no communication,) I had to be somewhere by 1pm so I couldn't wait. Can't to call them to reschedule that. The following appointment was fine. A couple months go by my wife and I find the house to be a little worm especially with a new born at home, so I call and make an appointment for Monday the 27th again my window was from 8-11 am. And they no show! No call no Nothing. I tried calling them the next day no answer! read more

My AC was shutting off and on in the extreme heat of August. I have a home warranty, and they sent out another company who made the problem worse by giving us the wrong advice which caused the entire system to shut down. I've had good experiences with Keefe's in the past, so I called at 7:30am and they said they'd squeeze me in the same day. Mohamed came out and fixed everything with ease. He showed me what the problem was and how the previous company had made it worse. He even gave me some examples of some good "dumb thermostats," since our smart thermostat has been acting up. I appreciated his skill and knowledge. The price was reasonable. In the past, I did sign up for their contract for yearly maintenance, but found that the technician who came out gave me a laundry list of things to fix that weren't exactly high priority. I found this overwhelming, so I didn't renew the contract. It's probably a better value to just get annual or biannual checks on the AC and heating rather than signing up for the contract. Overall, very grateful Keefe's saved us on day with feels like temperatures of 115. read more

Beware! Bait & switch scam. I called to have my well pump replaced & they tried to sell me a water heater instead. They gave an estimate of over $1300 to replace the pump! Then said that they would give me $1000 off the pump replacement if I bought a $3000 water heater! Lol. I called a different plumber out the next day & they replaced my pump for $325. What a racket! read more

Over priced and can't follow simple request. I asked to speak to Manager and they refused to give him message and give me his name

I had Keefe's out for an estimate to install an Electric Vehicle charger near my driveway. The work was simple--install a new breaker in the box, and then run a conduit with wiring along the base of my house to the new outlet. Shockingly, even after trying to up-sell me on some other equipment, they gave me a quote of $7300. I got a second quote from an electrician I've worked with in the past, and it came out much closer to expectations: $1900. Keefe's was simply attempting to gouge me. Steer clear of Keefe's! read more

This company is fraudulent and should be investigated. It is amazing to me this company is allowed to continue operating much less carry an A+ rating by the BBB. Air stopped blowing cool. Technician came out and took a bunch of random pictures of dust and rust and said there was a freon leak and numerous other issues. Then proceeded to engage in a painfully obvious scripted encounter with "sales" because the only option given was to replace the entire system for $15,000 plus. This is their scam. It seems they do it to everyone judging from these reviews. I called a local guy as soon as I got that guy out of my house. He replaced the condenser/fan capacitor for 100 bucks and everything worked fine. Of course they refused to return the 88 dollar scam fee. I could go on but I won't waste my time. This place should be shut down. read more

When our twenty year-old central air unit finally stopped working we called Keefe's. Keefe's was able to send out a representative the same day. After discussing the options we were able to schedule the work to be done within two days. The team of Mike C and Derek came out promptly as scheduled and explained everything that was going to be done as they replaced the central air conditioning unit both inside and outside. The work was done professionally and expertly. Also, the grounds were cleaned up so that you never knew they were there. As, such I would recommend Mike C and Derek from Keefe's Air Conditioning for your AC work. read more

Be careful! I recently purchased a 13KW generator from Keefe's. My experience was not as good when I bought a similar one a few years ago for my previous home. David came out to do my estimate in May, and I told him I was hoping to have it for hurricane season. He said "no problem", should just be a couple of weeks. My generator wasn't up and running until the end of September! largely due to permit delays which he had to know about. Then I told him I was concerned about the frequency required for oil changes. He said the generator could run one month without an oil change, which is false even for synthetic oil. It's only about 100 hours. He also sold me modules that I didn't need. Be careful! This guy was just trying to get the generator sold plus a few extras. Hopefully Keefe's has other more reputable salespeople than this guy. read more

Latrease listened to my odd request for service and arranged a quick appointment for service ---my thermostat seemed to be inhabited by gremlins. Technician Kieth G. arrived promptly, was considerate of my floors and furnishings, gave detailed and understandable explanations. His diligence and logical thinking found the problem and fixed it. Not gremlins, but one very tiny wire had broken/frayed inside a multi-wire conduit that connected the AC unit to the thermostat. After Kieth G replaced it, the thermostat once again controlled heat and cooling. My husband is very pleased that I choose Keefe's for their service and products. read more

About a month or so ago I called for service on my unit. When the tec came he seemed knowledgeable about issues with my condition. After the work was done however thats when things went south. The reason i chose them was due to a special advertisement about no fee to show up like most companies in this field do. That turns out to not be technically true. The kicker was that no invoice was given until i called for one and when it was emailed later i found some unflattering comments on there. Basically don't feel like you are doing me a favor by showing up. That was the vibe I felt after reading the comments on the invoice. So do better! read more

This unit has been nothing but a hassle. They are never in a timely manner, time frame of install 8-12(they were here 8-2) time of maintenance 8-11 (came at 1:30). Then didn't want to complete the task same day that should have been done on install til I called a manager. Never knew I needed a post install inspection, til 4 months later. Inspector comes out and they didn't even complete the intial task. Had someone come out to do what needed to be done (wrap the pipe in insullation) and he was to lazy to remove my platform (plywood) making my attic accessible, so he replaced the drain above my platform and made my attic space unusable. Mind you this is the second time I have asked them to come out and inspect a noise on my outside unit! Note the first time, it wouldn't recreate the noise while the service tech was here, so he said take a video next time. I get a video, and because he can't recreate it on his own, they did nothing to resolve the noise. read more

I had the worst intersection with the service rep. Who was determined to tell me that I had a tune up on my AC system which I did not. I had a yearly service contract which they were supposed to come and inspect my system which they did and nothing more but wanted to get paid for a service they did not provide. And I was told that there was no manger I could speak with to resolve the issue. I don't think that's the way your company operates. And if so you lost my business. read more

I hired Keefe's to install my a/c system it was huge mistake. I paid fifteen thousand dollars for a 2.5 ton system made by Lennox. The system is complete junk, the installers were complete hacks. I had to go behind them and redo the electrical at the evaporator the emergency drain the electrical at the outside unit the gas line and clean up the mess they left on my walls and in my attic and they cracked my ceiling in two places. I have the photos and receipts to prove it. Keefe's is not professional and a ripoff in my opinion. Beware, do your due diligence, I didn't and paid a heavy price. read more

I made an appointment on Wednesday, June 21st, for Friday, June 23rd, to have a ceiling fan and light fixture installed. I received a text on Thursday, June 22nd, as a reminder of the appointment. It also outlined a $25 discount if you donate school supplies for the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Louisiana so I went out and purchased the supplies. Someone should have sent a reminder to the technician of my appointment because I spent the entire day at home on Friday waiting for someone to come out. When I called at 3pm to see if anyone was going to come to my home, I was sent to voicemail twice. How's that for customer service? As for the school supplies I purchased, I will just donate them to CASA. I will not bother calling Keefe's again. read more

Keefe's replaced a motor for my a/c. The technician left this pipe exposed and leaking in the attic. The leak ran down my walls, through the kitchen and master bathroom. The leak has gone through my flooring across the house. I've had to contact a contractor to get this fixed and will not update this review until Keefe's takes the next step to rectify and do right by the situation. This is going to be a costly repair and the motor replacement was already $1400+ dollars. You've been warned. read more

Overpriced ripoff artists. I got charged $1200 to replace a capacitor and to install hard start kit. I brought a house last year and had Keefe's replace the old unit. They said since it was over 20 years old they recommend I get a new one. They installed a new unit, ran new ductwork work, installed a pressure box and fogged the ducts. The new unit has not worked properly since installed. The unit will not cool the house down. It's been over a year now and they keep giving me the run around. They even gave me a bunch of recommendations; like leave all of your interior doors open and none of these recommendations worked. Managers Chris and Orlando were supposed to come to my house to fix this problem weeks ago. They never came. Today I have contacted a lawyer. Hopefully we'll go to district soon and get this resolved. I wouldn't recommend keefes if this was the last company standing. Oh and this unit with all of its add ons costed me over $16000. Do not use this company or you will be going through everything that I am. It's south Louisiana and my home does not go under 78/80 degrees. I would've kept my money and my old unit had I known that keefes would do this to me. I wish I ddnt have to give them any stars but the review requires I leave atleast one read more
