I called Acadiana Plumbing this morning because I was concerned about a possible gas leak. Even though they were fully booked for the next two days, they treated it as urgent and got someone out to my home within an hour. Tazz Hitt, the lead plumber, contacted me directly, arrived promptly, and walked me through everything he was doing. He performed a thorough inspection of the generator, gas meter, and lines, explaining the process and safety considerations along the way. Thankfully, no leak was found on my property--we believe the smell may have been coming from a neighboring line--but having that level of diligence gave me real peace of mind. I also want to highlight Tina in the office, who was incredibly kind, responsive, and clearly advocated for getting me same-day service given the situation. Professional, responsive, and genuinely customer-focused--highly recommend! read more

Tina and Eric are lovely to deal with. Eric took care of my problem, quickly, professionally and at a VERY fair price. He also, for no extra charge, fixed a small non plumbing problem I had. Great efficient work for a simple replacement of a kitchen faucet. Very prompt in their communication. Would definitely hire them again.

Here's the deal... I'll deal with anybody who's on the up and up. I put in a request on Yelp they answered. The lady was a little short on the phone but I just ignored her, however the boss was a super nice and very easy to deal with, his son came out the next day called ahead of time, was also very kind, and so was the other worker. I paid them, they finished the job in less than an hour, now they're on their way to their next job. I got the services that I needed...perfect! Why can't everybody else be like this. Stop trying to scam people and take their money do your job, get paid for it and move on which is exactly what Acadian plumbing did and I appreciate it! No games, no gimmicks, and no tricks! Just installed the waterline. read more

From my first point of contact Acadian was professional, courteous and very timely in communicating. At first diagnosis was the electrical phases of the water heater but ended up being an under slab hot water line leak. Eric suggested to reroute the line through the attic and eventually rerouted two lines. Eric and Andrew are " experts " in what they do ! They wasted no time and finished the job much faster than I expected. Totally cleaned up everything. They deserve more than 5 Stars. So glad I took a chance and called Acadian-- you should too-- you will be glad you did. Also the cost was very reasonable being considerable less than other estimates. ---- Thank you Eric Andrew and Tina--- henceforth my go to plumber read more

I called these folks and they wanted $125 to come and do an estimate. I'm trying to get a couple of bids for a job and that seems like a lot to me. I might've said yes to $50. The $125 is credited if they do the work but if not, you're out the $. Yes, you're going to go write a bid and not get the work sometimes (I know I've been in this kind of business) but that's part of the deal. read more

Considering the service was needed over the Christmas holiday, Acadian was efficient and prompt with the communication. Extremely reasonable cost for the service. Would definitely hire again. read more

Tina and Eric were very responsive, super polite, and in great to deal with. I had a PEX water line leaking at a fitting and it could have required Sheetrock demo to make the repair. Eric and his helper were able to make the repair without having to remove Sheetrock. I highly recommend Acadian! read more

Yesterday was the first time I've needed a plumber since moving to New Orleans, so of course it was time to stress about finding someone dependable and reasonable. Fortunately, Acadian put my worries to rest. I called the office number late in the afternoon. After 4 or 5 rings (on no, this isn't good) a man answered and explained that the office was closed, but he was the owner on his way home. He listened to my problem and said that the next day's schedule was pretty full, but he'd try to work me in. When I called the office this morning, the owner answered, remembered me, and said "You're on the schedule for today." Only three hours later, two nice dog-loving guys arrived and fixed my toilet right away, explaining that the hard water here wreaks havoc with plumbing fittings. The price was more than my sweet, independent plumber in Kansas City, and I might have been able to fix it myself with YouTube. But I don't want to do stuff like that, and getting it fixed right away by courteous, professional people absolutely made it worth the price. read more

My name is Jimmie, I requested a certified plumber to help get my father's gas meter back from the city. Within an hour I spoke with Eric from Canadian Plumbing and the 2 days later Eric was at my father's house pressure testing the gas system. He fixed the issue the same day and submitted the request to have the city to come out and verify his work. The work was verified a few days later. I can respect Acadian Plumbing for their promptness, professionalism, respect and good work. And yes, I would recommend them to my family and friends. read more

We live in Metairie and after calling a few plumbers Acadien responded quickly. We got service the same day. Our problem involved a leaky toilet bowl. The diagnosis was quick and the price was normal for this region. The parts needed were immediately available, a lot of professional knowledge displayed and courteous service throughout. I think we will be good for many years to come. Who can ask for anything more? Rock on read more

Our kitchen sink drain was clogged and we tried everything we could, including snaking it ourselves. The blockage was too hard to break through. Called Acadian and explained issue to the dispatcher. I asked if they would bring out what was necessary to unclog it. I was assured they would. Tech arrives on time with only a snake in his hand. I asked if that is all he has to unclog it. He replied that, yes, that is all they have. I told him I didn't think it would work since I had already tried it. He said "If you don't want me to try, I won't, but it will be $125 for service call and I'll leave now". My options now are to pay $125 for nothing, or $325 for what I don't think will work anyway. I went ahead with the $325 and said "Maybe you know how to snake a drain better than I do". Well, he did not. He was just as unsuccessful as I was. He then went on to say that Acadian cannot fix the clog and I need to call another plumber. He then wrote the name of the guy who he thinks can fix it and his number on my ticket. I paid him the $325 as I agreed and he left. I did NOT call his recommended plumber but instead called Sturt Services who came out and fixed the issue within an hour with their snake, which is much better than the ones Acadian owns, obviously! I will never call this company out again, and why would you when they just charge you to give you a referral of someone else. Info from work order because it's hard to read the 3rd carbon copy they left: Estimate of work: Kitchen Sink backing up to P Trap and run Auger $325 regardless of outcome - no warranty on drains. Description of work performed: The kitchen sink backing up. Ran Auger from pulled PTrap. About 6-8 feet hit hard spot. Worked cable back and foward (sic). Could not get past. Recommend video insp. We had our washing machine start to back up and leak water everywhere due to a blockage in our piping. I called Acadian and they were able to send someone out that day! We thought we wouldn't be able to wash clothes for at least a week! The guys came out and were awesome and professional as always. They took care of the problem and the pricing was very reasonable. Taz and Nathan came out and they are very honest, professional and trustworthy and didn't try to upsell us on anything we didn't need. Glad we have a great reliable company we will use from here on out! We've used them before and have been impressed every time. Definitely worth giving them a try. read more

Great job and at a good price. Nice fellows and easy to talk to. Will use again and again in the future.

Beware Receptionist was very rude and her attitude was like she was doing me a big favor by scheduling me. Normally I couldn't care less but her condescending tone was over the top. If the owners treat people like that then I don't want anything to do with them. read more

Acadian's crew showed up on time and had all the necessary parts and tools. They were masked as is necessary these days and the work was done quickly. They cleaned up before leaving. I purchased a bidet toilet seat from Amazon, and did a self install and noticed a leak. It was pretty late, so I turned off the water to the toilet and waited until the next morning to call Acadian. The lady who answered the phone was really friendly, and said she could have someone come out between 9 AM and noon that day. I was really surprised they could make it the same day. Woody gave me a call at around 8:20 and was at my home 20 minutes later, masked up and ready to go. The toilet was leaking because the original threading was old on the inside of the toilet tank, so he replaced that, and now I don't have to hold down the toilet flusher the entire time the toilet flushes. I highly recommend Acadian. They were fast and efficient! read more

I recently bought a house and during the inspection period, roots were found in my drain pipe. Had a leaky faucet/pipe in my bathroom. Called another plumber, their estimate was $900 because it would be a 4 hour job. On top of that, they wouldn't be able to fix the leak till the next day. The next day came, but the plumber did not. Today I called Acadian at 8 AM. I was a bit worried because they charge for their estimate. 10 AM rolls around, the leak is fixed (they even had to drive to get a part), they cleaned up their work, most importantly the total bill was only $240. I hate dealing with tradesmen because I know nothing about plumbing etc. but with these guys the whole process was quick and painless. read more

They were amazing. Excellent work, quick service and at a bargain price. They came out the next day and fixed the problem quickly. Had the parts needed in the truck already so no extra time needed to order parts. He finished putting on the new clawfoot faucet in less than 30 minutes. So I asked if he could look at a couple other issues around the house. He was very accommodating and took care of 2 other small issues. Even had the part in the truck for that one too. Definitely recommend. read more

Trust these guys. They were much faster than any other plumber and they fixed it. And they also were very helpful and explained the issue.

Called for an emergency and made an appointment promptly. The service men were courteous and professional. They fixed my issue in no time.

I reached out to Acadian Plumbing after finding them on Yelp and they were wonderful! I spoke with the receptionist about my problem and offered to send her some photos of my issue. She quickly passed them along to the owner who called me back in less than 20 minutes. We discussed the issue and arranged for someone to come out - they guys who came were very polite, did great work, cleaned up everything and my total bill was about half of what someone else had quoted me. Hope I do not need to use them again for anything else too soon but definitely will for my next plumbing need! read more

I'm not sure they deserve they're positive rating. I left all my information, address and phone number when I first called. The young woman i spoke to was very pleasant but unsure whether or not the owner serviced mobile homes. I asked that someone let me know whether or not they did. I waited and finally called back four hours later and was told by someone other than I spoke to ( possibly the owner) originally that he did not have my phone number but did have my address. Waisted four hours when I could have been searching for a plumber who was willing to help. Fortunately Richie's Plumbing not only set an appointment for the next day but fit the repair in on the same day I called. We were using bottled water for 5 days as we turned off the water when the leak was detected and i let them know this on first call. I certainly gave my phone number to the pleasant young woman who answered the phone when I first called and it's my belief she passed that along to the owner and he didn't feel the need to show me the courtesy of a return call. Would never recommend him to anyone. read more
