I could not believe what I had experienced, I thought I was being "punked" But "Lo and Behold" thru the Graces of God I found Lenny's Plumbing, Inc, 4500 Shores Drive #101,Metairie, La 70006 504-888-9471. I called Lenny's and I spoke with Mike (one of the family member) I knew this was a winner company when I spoke to though him. He listened to what I needed and what I had been through and Mike scheduled me with Brian the same day, even though it was busy. Brian had his son Justin as an assistant and this young man was excellent I had three toilets not functioning, but Mike told me Brian would have everything that is needed on his truck. Well, I have never seen this much proficiency, efficiency, professionalism, compassion, good manners and all that with market price charges. It was like your best "po" boy, dressed with everything on it! HuH? Brian asked me to show and tell him what was wrong. Once I did this, Brian went to work, methodically one bathroom at a time, explaining to his son what was being done and answering my questions, plus Brian informed me of the do(s) and don'ts of what to use in your toilets. He called as he got closer to my home and was on time. In fact my toilet tank beckoned to Brian and thanked him for telling me to "cut out out that bleach overload" I'm sanitary already! I said "hold yo horses, water hog, I heard the sheriff, uhhhh OK. Lenny"s is a family business over 50+ years. The current family member owner is Michelle Lapyuade. I didn't have the opportunity to talk with her, but I've heard nothing but love about her. Also, Mike Darges is the other family member and staffer, and Brian (plumber) whose been there a decade or two. They have a great team over there. I am a certified "lifer" with Lenny's Plumbing. The quality of the work is excellent, my interaction with Brian was great, he funny as well as a master plumber. Young Justin has a great role model in his dad, an a great life experience working with an honest, professional, proficient business as Lenny's Plumbing. Y'all have all the info and lots of great reviews to read. Check Lenny's out and tell them where you heard about their business. It is nat'ully naw'lins! Peace Out! ! "MO"

Customer service (for installation) = n/a stars I had a leak in the water line to my bathtub. I called, easy conversation, scheduled 2 days later, service team arrived on time, fixed the leak. Great!! I paid by card. Simple! On the first call about the leak, I explained I was looking for further renovation services: install tub, toilet, and new double vanity instead of 1 sink existing. When the service team repaired the leak, they took photos of the bathroom. After calling the office to follow up, I was told to call back once I purchased all of the material and they could put me on the schedule. So that's what I did, 10 days later. The woman that answered the phone this time was not at all helpful and told me that they cannot do any of the installation work. She made a point to say I was not as important at the contracts that they have in place. I felt completely misled after 3 conversations with this team. It wasted my time and extended the time I was without a bathroom.

I've had broken toilets, clogged faucets, shower faucet handles that needed replacing, and most recently a hot water heater that needed to be replaced, and all was done promptly and I did not have to wait days for someone to show up. This is an excellent company and I have recommended them to my family and friends. So, if you find yourself in the same boat as I was last year, in searching for a reliable and reasonable priced plumber that you can trust, and don't want to wait days for service, look no further. Chris was quick to respond to my text . I wasn't expecting him to respond on the weekend but he…read morequickly did. I had a problem with my tub draining into the bathroom floor. Shared him a video, he said, most likely a drum trap that is clogged. At 9am Monday morning, a knock on my door, it's Chris! Within 2 hours he unclogged it, got me a new cap for the drum trap, looks great. Now I can take a shower and give my son a bath without the worry of water draining into the bathroom. I called Chris because he specializes in clogged pipes, and I'm sure glad I did. If I had called a plumber, I imagine they would want to replace the drum trap and that would have been very costly. Having just bought this house, I was extremely stressed about the cost of this repair. Chris believes strongly is providing fair pricing. He quoted me over the phone his affordable service price, and that's what I paid. Thank you so much! Please call Pro Flow Services, you won't regret it.

From the moment he first arrived, his professionalism and expertise was evident. Cory quickly went to meticulously working-checking every possible source of the gas leak with the attention to detail of that a jeweler, rather than a tradesman. Not only did Cory identify, locate the gas leak, he also took the time to explain the situation to me in a clear and concise manner. His transparent communication and honest approach gave me peace of mind during a stressful time. I mean my house could've exploded! Additionally, he provided me with practical advice on how to prevent such issues in the future. After all that, I was pleasantly surprised by their very fair pricing for the exceptional quality of service provided. Cory and his crew really went above and beyond. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing needs and recommending them to all my friends and family. My only regret is I can't take Nola Flow out of NoLa just to service my other properties in California and Texas! Thank you, Cory, for your exceptional service!

On the day before Thanksgiving, Conrad arrived less than one hour from me opening a home warranty claim. He quickly confirmed that my 75 gallon water heater needed to be replaced. We discussed the challenges of my installation and we agreed that the new one would not be in place until the end of day Monday. This was disappointing but understandable due to the holiday. Also, I was nervous because I was leaving town Friday morning and would not be there for any additional issues (there usually are issues). Conrad pleasantly surprised us when he called on Friday and set up to install it that day. The entire NOLA area experienced low temps in the 50's that weekend and the early install kept my wife from having to choose between bathing in cold water or travelling to impose on relatives. I returned a week later to find the new unit installed EXACTLY as we discussed. WARNING: If you have a home warranty... My only complaint is with the warranty company. I have two contracts with them - one for me and one for my disabled sister. Each home has needed a water heater this year. Regardless of their size (my sister's was a 50 gallon unit), the cost to me was over $500 for each - $75 copay plus $460 for non-covered expenses. I priced the extra parts used for my job at Home Depot and they totaled less than $30 including tax. This is a flat fee imposed by the warranty company. THIS ROBBERY IS NOT CONRAD'S FAULT. Small point: I think he choose the wrong name for his company. Conrad is One Great Plumber!

The plumber just left, my previously-tidy…read morebathrooms and kitchen are all slightly disheveled, I'm a hundred fifty bucks lighter in the wallet, and the first thing I wanted to do was come write a great review of these guys. (It's not a wreck in here, I swear... a couple of things from under the kitchen sink are now on the counter, the toilet brush thingy is still pulled out and the bath mat is still jammed out of the way, and the towel used to mop up some of the water is still on the floor. Very small potatoes, considering what it COULD have looked like, haha.) I've used Affordable Plumbing a few times in the past, and each time has been the fastest in-and-out that I've ever seen. Their hourly rate has gone from $85 to $125 over the past several years, but that's to be expected really, especially considering it was a one-man show at $85, and the last two times he's come he's had a helper with him. Not to mention the fact that the cost of everything has completely skyrocketed lately. In the grand scheme of things, I'd rather pay $125 for one hour and two people, than have to go into a second hour with one guy. Following my convoluted math logic here? Today I had a rather substantial laundry list of things that needed to be taken care of. The toilet in the back bathroom needed a new wax seal, the front toilet required a Crazy Magical Formula of holding down the handle the Exact Right Length of Time that only I can effectively reproduce at will or it wouldn't flush, and the faucet in the kitchen has decided we didn't really need to have a full stream of hot water after all. Do you have any idea how long time goes by when you're trying to wash dishes and you're waiting for that trickle of water to actually get hot? I DIE. We had an appointment for 3pm and the guys were early, which was just fine by me. I told them about the two toilet issues, and asked if it would be more cost effective to just replace the toilets because I wasn't sure how much parts / labor would be for the wax seal especially. Yeah, that's right... I actually put spending a bunch more money on the table, and here's the kicker -- was told no by the plumber. He said the parts were super cheap and told me it would probably be around $300 parts and labor for a new one. Cheaper? Yes, please. :) He got to work on the front bathroom and put his assistant to work on the wax seal in the back with a quickness. My three year old was all about it... wanting to watch and "help" with his little plastic Black & Decker tools (shockingly, he did not break out the little orange hard hat, haha)... getting all underfoot and I'm being a total nervine momma, telling him to stay out of the way about three times in twenty seconds. The guy (I can't believe I didn't get his name. AGAIN, ugh! I think he's the owner, though, he's been "the guy" that came every single time I've called them) was super nice and said he wasn't in the way, and even LET HIM HELP with some of the stuff he was doing. That alone earns some huge points in my book, you know? They get done with the toilets, ask if there's anything else, and like a total flake I say "no, I think that's it!" with a huge grin. He sits down with the paperwork to get an invoice written out and then asks me about the kitchen sink (which we had mentioned when we called). Thank goodness he had it noted somewhere and saw it, because I had already completely forgotten about it. They got to work on that and got it fixed super quick as well. All told, they were probably in and out of here within the course of half an hour, maybe -- MAYBE -- 45 minutes. Way to maximize your profit, guys! *laughing* Seriously, though... they could have very easily loafed around and taken their time, spent two hours and doubled their money. Or neglected to mention the kitchen faucet and then come back for another service call fee when I called again to get it fixed too. I've heard horror stories about service guys taking advantage of the fact that the chick doesn't know anything about whatever they're doing (not completely accurate in this case, for the record, haha), but I've never gotten that feeling from these guys, and it's always been me without a Big Strong Knowledgeable Man around somehow. In short - these guys have always worked at lightning speed, have been completely up front about what they were doing, have suggested less costly ways to do things (like the washing machine drain issue we had a year and a half ago), actually let my kid help out and do stuff, and... well, he just seems like a Nice Guy, you know? Sold. And highly recommended. :)
