Incredibly professional, polite and efficient. They explained everything that had gone wrong and detailed how they would approach the repairs. They were punctual and - if you can believe it - cheerful! Daniel was actually singing carols as they worked! No one wants to find out they need extensive repairs - especially at the holidays - but they were very reasonable and as you can see, did a careful and considerate job. The best endorsement I can give is to honestly say that after the holidays, I will have them back to fix other things that lesser plumbing companies have done at our house. Thank you, Daniel and John! You made something that had me in a panic genuinely painless and I am glad to know you! Use Brooks Plumbing with absolute confidence.

Lastly they were able to charge my card afterwards which was convenient and I received an email from the office shortly after. Not only that but when I asked a clarifying question about the charges the office responded promptly and kindly and with an explanation that made sense. Priced fairly and well for the service provided - this is now our go to plumbing company. Thank you ARF

Tazz Hitt, the lead plumber, contacted me directly, arrived promptly, and walked me through everything he was doing. Thankfully, no leak was found on my property--we believe the smell may have been coming from a neighboring line--but having that level of diligence gave me real peace of mind. I also want to highlight Tina in the office, who was incredibly kind, responsive, and clearly advocated for getting me same-day service given the situation. The companies they used were very unprofessional and did not impress me with their knowledge. We finally decided to accept the warranty pay-out and choose our own company, and we chose Benfatti. We could not have made a better decision. Cory, the salesperson, explained all our different choices and guided us into selecting the right unit for our house. While we waited for the installation, he provided two window units to keep us comfortable. Sean, the lead repair technician, and his assistant were very polite, efficient and explained what they were doing and why at all times. We were highly impressed by the professionalism of everybody involved with the job. At the end, the owner came and performed a very detailed inspection of all the work performed. We feel absolutely comfortable that everything was done right and will last for a very long time. I cannot recommend this company enough; I'm just sorry we had to go through two other companies first.

I had my HVAC system installed just about two years ago, with an extended warranty. I went with…read moreCalloway & Sons solely based on their positive Yelp reviews as my friends really didn't have anyone to recommend. I'm not going to lie: getting this system installed in a home we were living in at the time was not a pleasure and I won't ever go through it again. We had to get the duct work done which is a horrifying mess (there's no way around it) and to Calloway & Son's credit, they did suggest we go with a split system. Live and learn. We also thought we were getting a system with zones which didn't happen and it was never fully explained why, but in these old homes with impossibly high ceilings and two levels, your bills are going to be extremely high if you have one single unit. It is what it is. I certainly don't blame them for that! But on to the most important stuff: the system is pretty good. Again, old house, not the greatest insulation and taking all that into consideration we are comfortable 80% of the year. The other 20% of times are where things are a less than awesome: this year's blizzard and any extremely cold days mean for a very hot upstairs, requiring us to run the window AC unit. And on those blistering hot summer days, there's no way we're comfortable upstairs without the window unit. Again, my house... it's ancient. It wasn't made for these types of systems. Last summer, there was a day in August when the system stopped working on a Friday. I was more than a little disappointed when I was told they couldn't give us a service visit unit until Monday. If you live here, you know it is literally unbearable to not have AC on a summer day. Luckily the very kind lady on the phone worked with us and fit us in. I also now pay for insurance that ensures priority service. I was only able to afford to get the HVAC on the owner's side of my two family house done and that was about 25K. The financing was not great... if I hadn't paid it off ASAP, it would have been almost double that. So try to pay it all upfront if possible. At least the option is there if you need it.
