Our fish was only so-so because it was not fresh. The yellow tail was all sauced up and my wife's grouper was not cooked/grilled enough. The mushroom side tasted like it came out of a can (small mushrooms all the same size and real salty). The sweet potatoes were way too sweet. The Spinach Maria was the only thing I liked about the meal. Service was OK but we were surrounded by really old people who complained continually about everything. NOT a good dining experience. We will go elsewhere for good seafood and a nice dinner in the future. read more

Food (French onion snapper and Ke'e seafood chioppino) was excellent, but was most impressed by our server, who was expertly paced, very knowledgeable, and perfectly complementary to our experience. The Mojito and Volcano Shrimp appetizers were excellent and we should've stopped. For the main entree, I had red snapper with a sun-dried lobster sauce. The snapper was soft and the breading was mushy. I wasn't interested in finishing. My wife had grouper with lump crab and liked it (but she insists anything with crab is good). The atmosphere was Kauai-like with bamboo and they really created a nice view out the windows with dense palms and bright lighting. Inside is okay but crowded and nothing special. We were somewhat surprised that nearly every patron was Medicare age plus. There were several walkers stored at the hostess stand. When I got the bill, I realized that generation is the only one with enough money to dine here as my bill for two cocktails, two glasses of wine and entrees and split appetizer was over $170 with tip. Over-priced, bland food, not easy to find, service was dead-pan. The manager tripped over himself catering to one table out of about 20. It felt like we were seated in a funeral home parlor. My wife and I recently had dinner at Ke'e. The woman at the reception desk was very rude and the waiter repeatedly put his hand on my shoulder during the meal. The food was acceptable but not great. Strangely enough, I doubt anyone at the Ke'e Grill even knows what Yelp is. Average age of the customer here is at least 50. That's fine. Just not a younger crowd. The atmosphere is nice. Service was attentive and friendly. Food was pretty good. I started with a Caesar salad, but the romaine lettuce was not exactly crisp and fresh. Maybe I got the end of old bunch. Can't say for sure. It was only $5.95, but I still expect fresh lettuce. I had the seared Ahi Tuna. Portion was very good. Flavor was outstanding. I would order this again. My side was mushrooms. Fresh mushrooms but somewhat bland. My wife had the Filet Mignon. Portion was good, tasty, and perfectly cooked. Nothing special to speak of. Overall, this place is good, but a bit expensive. I prefer the Food Shack in Jupiter. It's more original and a better value too. read more

This place is a great place to go to. Came here and had the sweet potato crusted grouper with the spinach maria and pasta. The fish was delicious and cooked perfectly. Thought there are a lot of reviews about the spinach I thought it was just ok. It was a little heavy for me. Too much cheese and cream. That's my personal taste though. We had the key lime pie for dessert. Let me tell you something. I was good! One thing I did notice about the restaurant though was the average age of the customer. Not a lot of younger people. Seemed to be an older clientele. Maybe because of the price. Little on the expensive side but the food was worth it. read more

Well according to the two previous reviewers (my friend Ben L age 29 the other Joe S, under 50 I surmise) this is place for me if I want to check out the {Not Much} Night Life {Left} Group. Heck aging is getting to be true of not just Ke Grill or Florida but much of America. Still the food and wine here were perfect. And of course to further the over 50 sentiments, I also loved the 1950's flaming Tiki Torch, pseudo Cabana grass-thatched roof, Bamboo motif but my grouper, veggies and ubiquitous key lime pie were perfect. Service was great and they had Frazier Cabernet at a very reasonable price. Our local, also over 50 clients suggested Ke Grill and we now enjoy Ke most every time we are in the area. I gave the place 5 stars despite the lack of lava lamps and black lights because there is a drug store just across the parking lot. So in conclusion - the older I get the more I like Ke! read more

This is a strip mall jazzed up restaurant. The food is good, but the host/hostess is snobby. In fact we have eaten here about ten times and each time l get annoyed at the host/hostess . I went with a friend a week ago and the host actedike it was an annoyance to seat us ...very interesting since it was a weekday in July. Was it our clothes? Lilly P...Jack Rodgers and LV bags?! It's not like we went in bathing suites and cover-ups!!!! I would rather eat at its sister restaurant, the Jetties,...or Portobello's. We were in the area when we found it. It looked a bit romantic I loved all the trees that make the place look cozy. We were pleasantly surprised with the entire menu and the ambiance. The food was very nice they accommodated us close to 9 pm since they kitchen closes at 9:30. Margie was our waitress and after a long long easter brunch and dinner served us like we were her first customers of the day. We never felt hurried. The menu was vast of wonderful new ideas. We are in town for a week and are making arrangements to go back at least once before we leave. Also we order the dirty martini which was very smooth... if i didnt have to drive back to the hotel I would ordered one more and I dont even drink!! By the way, the spinach Maria a must :) read more

We were seated immediately @ time of reservation and our server came right to the table. She was knowledgable of the menu and drink list. My husband ordered calamari, the special- grouper in a lobster sauce with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. I ordered shrimp cocktail, oriental chiliaen sea bass with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Another 4.5 stars restaurant in this area. They do seafood very well, and a well oiled machine service wise. There were 6 of us, we all loved our entree. The atmosphere is great, and I love all these beautiful plants outside of the floor length windows making you feel like you are eating in a garden. The spinach maria is a great side. after a round of golf cut short by an unexpected tropical storm slamming the area I lucked out when finding this great place to have dinner..sat at the bar.... shrimp cocktail was perfect, yellow tail snapper, crab and mushrooms was excellent.. spinach marie and fresh green beens topped it all off. What made the dinner a five star is the service-- bartenders Steve and Ken to the numerous wait staff that make sure their clients every want and need is delivered with a smile.
