The food was great! I got the spicy kebab with beef/lamb and it was delicious. I also loved the garlic sauce that they have - so tasty! It's quite affordable and the service was quick. There is plenty of space to eat inside or outside, at least during a weekday lunch. I'd totally come back!

Wow! Food is delicious!!!!!! Highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat! Way faster than sitting at a regular restaurant, and the service was super polite and wonderful. Really quiet and calm in the sitting area with extra comfy chairs and tables.

    Double Kebab Wrap

The place was quite busy when I walked in on a Thursday for lunch. I was immediately greeted by the two gentlemen behind the counter. They were friendly and courteous. I ordered the Double Kebab Wrap - garlic, hummus, tzatziki, lettuce, tomato, onion, cucumber, red cabbage and pickle. At first I thought it was pretty small for a double, but it was packed and filling! I also ordered the Poutine, but it had gotten cold and soggy when I reached my hotel. I took a few bites and tossed the rest of it. Maybe I'll try the Fries and Kebab next time. Friendly service, quick and delicious!

I pay for it and they send me to the toppings counter to select what I want in the shawarma. I tell him what toppings I want and then he says ok, " have a seat" .?? I guess he will bring the sandwich to my table? Wrong. I sit at a table and then when it is ready they call me to come and get it. .? They had me sit at a table so that I would not see what they put in the shawarma. You know how they normally cut it off a big hunk of delicious smokey meat on a vertical cooking thing? Not here. The meat is from a metal drawer and once assembled it gets squeezed flat in a grill like a panini. Ugh, never again.

There were large chunks of tender beef, veggies, and sauce. I believe the man said both garlic and tzatziki sauces were in it. Anyhow, the wrap was delicious! Don't know if it makes a difference, but when I was there, there were at least 2 families of middle eastern descent dining there. A little but of street cred maybe? I highly recommend trying out this place!

We had a high bar because we had just gone to an Indian restaurant in Chicago that was over the top good. Sizzling Tandoor met that bar. It was just as good as Chicago. Many reviews mentioned the Rogan Josh Lamb so we ordered that and balanced it off with Chicken Tikka Masala. We each ate half of each entree. A side of plain Naan completed the meal. We like hot food and we're going to order hot, but our server, Muskan, convinced us to get medium hot. It was perfect. Muskan was attentive but didn't hover. She engaged us in a nice convo after our meal and was very pleasant. The most difficult part was deciding which we liked better. The lamb won, but only by a small margin. Both were excellent.

There were a few other people at 11:30am We asked if they do lunch buffet as I didn't see any self serve food. The staff said they offered in the past but not today.. it might come back in 2 weeks? We ordered hummus, garlic naan, fish masala and special kebabs without lamb which was accommodated per our request. The food even the side veggies were really good, we all liked everything. I like this place for good quality fresh ingredients that I don't feel overstuffed. It's probably because the food is easy to digest? This doesn't happen with other Mediterranean and Indian food. We realized we'd need to head out earlier than expected because of traffic anxiety, so pivoted to looking for takeout so we could eat either in the car or on the ferry. The sauerkraut, arugula, and pesto had a nice kick to it, the fish was flawless, and the bread was perfectly toasted. My wife has a lot of food issues (gluten-free, allium sensitivities, etc.), and they let her basically custom order a combination of salmon grilled with salt and pepper on a lightly dressed bed of romaine. I did call to make a reservation just in case but in the end was not needed - I believe that is the only way to reserve to ensure you don't need to wait for a table. I got the fishhook chowder and the squimp toast. Fishhook chowder was decent - felt a bit watered down as I was expecting a stronger spice at minimum, but also not too salty. A bit watery than I expected. But I can still taste notes of the coconut milk and herbs so it could've been a bit better. The squimp toast is amazing - this is a must get. It's a combo of Humboldt squid and shrimp, both of which carried the flavors forward in the toast. And it is quite crispy. It's a fairly substantial dish at a relatively good price so this is actually a lot better than the fishhook chowder that people keep hyping about. Service is good as water refills are apparent. It feels more a fast casual than a more formal sit down, but prices are great and reflective as such.
