For no extra cost he didn't just sprinkle bacon bits on a plain maple bar and call it a day, he used fresh maple icing to glue the bits onto the bar, a bit of extra effort that I truly appreciated as I had to eat it on the go. Just live music, a laid-back patio, and a crowd that seems perfectly happy to have found the place. I went with the steak sandwich--tender steak, grilled onions, greens, sauce, good bread, and a pile of seasoned potatoes on the side. Nothing precious about it. Just a damn good sandwich.
