Though not huge, their menu is plant based with an assortment of brunch/lunch items like bowls, salads and interesting sushi, as well as smoothies and other drinks. If you're open to vegan food and uncommon items in a western diet, you'll enjoy it. The pad thai slaw and sushirito were delicious and well made and everything on the menu was inviting. The teas were lovely and I really enjoyed being able to select a blend of herbs for my tea mug. There was some herbal water available, and a selection of desserts on the counter and in the fridge - chocolatey delights like "snickers" bars. We found a corner next to the stage with two armchairs and a coffee table which was the coziest corner to sit and chat. Though it was Friday afternoon at lunch time and there were several other small groups, it never felt crowded and we were able to stay for a few hours enjoying our tea and meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and non-intrusive. You order at the counter and then sit down, and we were not disturbed at all besides our meal being brought to us when it was ready. Parking is limited but at least they have a lot. It's a short walk into the main part of the town. They also occasionally host events. Looking forward to returning!

Everything is vegan--I love it because for me it's less to worry about. Ambiance is comfortable, very similar to how they setup the dining room in their old location--which was earthy and homey. This location has an addition of an art room! For art days--appeared to be an area where adults and children can create art. I didn't venture in. Animals are welcome, some patrons had their dogs. Service was great. The cashier charged us for something we did not order and promptly sent a refund. They didn't have the salads and burritos from the previous menu but the owner told me that the menu items will eventually return. Will definitely come back!

Everything on the menu is vegan, but my family truly could not taste any difference when we visited. We ordered the Oreo protein pancakes, blueberry pancakes, penne with vodka sauce, and a breakfast burrito. Since I turned vegan, I've been craving pancakes so the food really hit the spot. The pancakes were so fluffy and tasted incredible. The penne was also so flavorful and was maybe our favorite dish. The breakfast burrito was also filling and tasted great. Overall, I'm very impressed with the quality of food and would come here regularly if I lived in the area. Additionally, the prices were super reasonable and are definitely more affordable than the average restaurant in the area. Chelsea was our waitress and I want to give her a special shoutout because she was particularly helpful and friendly to us. She did an excellent job answering our questions and even was willing to share general tips on vegan cooking. She really went out of her way to help me out after I mentioned that I recently turned vegan.

The service was friendly and casual. We were able to get recomendations which didn't disappoint. The decore is pretty basic but clean and pleasant nevertheless, and there is cool artwork displayed on the walls. There are many two person tabkes, which can be put together and four person open booths.

It feels like you're entering a library. It is really beautiful and chic. The staff were friendly and I ordered the Tibetan Mama ($15.93) Coconut Curry and it was delicious. It was so flavorful and fresh. Genuinely my only complaint is that they didn't give me more. I also ordered a lemonade (~$4) that had a nice sweetness to it, but didn't taste too artificial. It was a great addition to the hearty curry.

I had lunch from Le Botaniste last Saturday and enjoyed the meal. I say from Le Botaniste rather…read morethan at Le Botaniste, because - even though the cafe is beautiful and huge (I saw a sign pointing to more seating in another room) - it was a gorgeous day and I took my lunch across the street to enjoy in Bryant Park. And that's really one of the best things about this location of Le Botaniste (there around 7 locations in the city) - being right across from Bryant Park, you can enjoy a healthy lunch while enjoying the park! So what is Le Botaniste? It's an organic, plant-based, and carbon-neutral cafe with locations in NYC and a couple in Europe. So everything is vegan. Everything is organic. The calories and other dietary information are listed on the menu. I had their Chef Priyanka Samosa Bowl (a seasonal offering), which includes brown rice, saag, samosa balls, crispy chickpeas, turmeric onions, tamarind and green chutneys, and yogurt raita. It is 433 calories and 12 grams of protein. I thought it was good - although I thought the samosa balls were quite dry (the chutneys, saag, and raita helped), and I liked that it was light and healthy and wouldn't slow me down for the rest of my busy day. I also grabbed a water and a quinoa peanut butter cookie that I saved in my bag for later. (I noticed that they had some wines that I would have been happy to try - if you eat in, you can have a full experience with a drink.) I showed up right at 11 when they opened, and there was only one other customer. My bowl was ready in seconds and I was out the door and across the street seated in Bryant Park within a minute or two. If you're looking for a healthy vegan lunch in the neighborhood, Le Botaniste is a good option!
