My experience here was very disappointing. I had an appointment for 5:30pm and when I arrived was told she was getting food and on a lunch break. I waited 20 minutes as I was repeatedly told she was on her way. When she arrived she didn't apologize for being late and just told me to go to the second room. I waited in the room another longer than needed amount of time. When she came in the room she didn't remember what service she had me signed up for and had to go look it up. There was no professionalism of explaining the treatment and it was shockingly more painful than I was expecting. I would not recommend this busines. read more

Today, I had wispy eye lash extensions provided by an experienced artist. The business was clean, relaxing and everyone was so kind. So far being around a lot of people who know me, no one noticed. I'm an educator and work with a lot of professionals who will notice. I will come back and add their thoughts. After being home and looking at my lashes, I can't tell a big difference. Even though the pricing of threading in the Midwest is on the higher end, what has me coming back (7 years after my first review) is the consistency of output. I've driven from Liberty to here and now from LS to here for eyebrow threading and I will continue to do so as I have yet to find a better place that does brow threading. read more

I was actually referred to this place by my husband of all people. He's middle-eastern and it's true, they're hairy! (luckily for me, he's not! Thank God!!) He hates bushy eyebrows so he comes here to get his done! Anyhoo, I usually go to the place across the street from the Oak Park mall but they aren't very friendly and they make me tear up everytime they thread my brows! My husband persuaded me to go with him one time and I was hooked! It was quick and painless (thanks Pardeep) and the threading lasts so long! Granted, I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 6 years now! It's been 5 months since my last visit and I just went back today and I was in and out in 5 minutes! Pardeep is the best! OMG yelpers... Why did you recommend this place? WORST threading experience ever! So I come from California where threading is $5 and people are skilled. I usually don't care if they're on their headset like this lady was BUT they should know what they're doing. This was the most painful threading ever and my skin was left red from her pulling my eyelids off with her thread! No wonder people in KC opts for waxing over threading... I just moved to the area and was looking for a new threading place and found this one on yelp. I can't complain about how my eyebrows look, but the lady left me with scabs on both sides of my face. I've been threading for years so I know it's not that common to leave your clients with "wounds" on their face. I think she was in a rush and I hope this isn't standard. I will try this place again and will update my review accordingly. Update: I tried this place again and left with no wounds! The woman that helped me this time was more friendly as well. read more

This has been my regular place for brow tinting and lash tinting for a while. They do an excellent job - I usually do a walk in appointment in the middle of the day, and they usually get me in super quick and give good service. With brow tinting your brows will have some noticeable dye at the edges, but I use a glycolic toner or something similar to quickly remove that at home. However, the last time I went they had increased the price. I don't think it's above market rates, but it's definitely not worth it to me. I can do both my lashes and brows at home. I had gone here for convenience, but I guess I'll save my money from now on. (I gave up threading as I could never get predictable service at ANY threading place; often my brows were too thin.) read more

I had not touched my eyebrows well over 30 days. I decided I would give It another try. WORST decision ever. She left my eyebrows super thin and each one a different shape. My cousin and I went to KC Threading for the first time today for eyebrow and lip threading. She's gotten her eyebrows threaded before but this was my first time. The salon was clean and nicely decorated, though the AC could have been turned down a smidge. It was a little stuffy but not bad. We were both walk ins but the lady there today saw us within 10 minutes. She was very nice and professional, her touch was light, and I thought there was very minimal pain to the process. We both loved our eyebrows. I didn't think there was much she could do with mine, but this is easily the cleanest and best shaped they've ever looked. I will definitely be back for full face threading before my wedding! read more

This place is a RIP OFF!! And I'm from NYC! I get that prices may increase because of the closures of COVID but this place was absolutely insane. The prices weren't even listed they were covered by paper, they had me put on gloves (fine, I get it) and then afterwards they charged me to buy the gloves even though they weren't wearing any when they were touching my face. The lady didn't even ask me how I wanted my brows done she just ripped them all off! This was terrible! Obviously, I'll never go back because I'm not from the area but I hope this is a warning to everyone else!!! BEWARE! Shady Shady business! This place is a drive considering I live in NKC and pass several other threading places along the way, but I will continue to make the trek and avoid the other places. I've tried out several, this is the best place in the KC area, and I've been coming here since I moved to KC in 2014. Usually the women servicing the place are very polite, every now and then there's that one grouchy lady, but everyone's entitled to their bad days I guess. I just visited Pardeep's new shop today for an eyebrow threading. I had never had my eyebrows threaded by a professional before, but I wanted to give it a shot since I hadn't touched my brows in a while and, much to my chagrin, they'd started doing their own thing. Pardeep's shop is comfortable, clean, and just the right amount of cozy. She was very welcoming to me, a new customer, and I appreciated that she could thread my brows so quickly! I'm pretty sure it took less than 15 minutes AND unlike waxing, I had very minimal redness and my skin didn't ache afterward. Pardeep is very kind and was a joy to talk to. She's very excited about her new shop and so am I! Highly recommended, definitely give her a visit if you want to be treated to a pair of sexy new brows! I was glad that i found a place near my home that had good hours. I was wrong! Even with an appointment i still had to wait 30 minutes for those that walked in. The service was not that great, and my btows were uneven. I had to publicly look as if i was always curious for the 3 weeks it took to grow out. I do not reccomend this studio. read more

Just moved to the area, and has taken me forever to find a good place to do my eyebrows. I come from California where this service is not as expensive as here and the customer service is on point. If you are looking for that don't come here. If you don't mind the rudeness go ahead. The outcome of My eyebrows is not bad for 13.00, comparing to other places I have tried in the Metro area but their customer service is just BAD. You go there, you sit, they don't really listen to what you want, they work on your eyebrows for less than 2 minutes, you pay and you are out. I think everyone gets the same service. They are like mean robots. But overall they take the extra hair off your face and they leave kind of a shape. Hope it helps. read more

He was seated quickly and the nice lady whipped his bushy eyebrows right into submission. $12 + tip is a pretty standard charge and well worth it for the convenience of the location and the quick skill of the proprietrix. "Eyebrows on fleeeeek!" Pardeep, the owner of this salon, is the only person I will ever let near my eyebrows. Consistently perfect shape every single time I visit and it only takes a few minutes. You literally can just walk in without an appointment and don't have to wait long since she works quickly AND efficiently. Literally like five to fifteen minutes and you're done. Boom, perfect brows. This salon is fairly small, and Pardeep runs it all by herself. There are couches to the left and a few work seats with mirrors to the right. There are rooms in the back for waxing and other spa services which require an appointment. For threading specifically, I'd say pricing is pretty competitive. Definitely cheaper than the mall. Eyebrows are $12 and upper lips are $5 (even though she always goes all the way around and even under the lips as well, at no extra cost). The one at the mall charges for both upper and lower lips. For eyebrows, she not only threads a perfect brow line, but she also brushes your brows out and gives them a trim if needed. She has this little card that she can sign off on for every time you come in for eyebrow threading. On the 10th visit, you can receive a free eyebrow threading. So, if you consistently need to tame your eyebrows, it's nice to be able to come for eyebrow threading, and then get one free on your 10th visit. Note to those new to threading, she uses a long piece of thread and maneuvers it in a way to completely pull each hair out. So, if you're not used to consistently plucking/waxing/threading, then expect there to be some discomfort. But, she's pretty fast. It never hurts me. Upper lip hurts more since that's a way more sensitive area. After she finishes threading, she sprays this antibacterial solution onto a tissue for you to use to clean the area threaded. All in all, I'd recommend this salon because of pricing for threading, efficiency of the service performed, short wait times and because Pardeep is really quite nice. read more

I visited because my brows needed immediate attention after regrowing them from a traumatic brow experience at the mall. They were so thin I wanted to commit bodily harm. People, eyebrows are important! I found this place on Yelp. The shop was clean and I was greeted by the cutest little girl at the desk and Pardeep. She made my eyebrows look so fabulous not thin at all. She did an excellent job and I will definitely be back. No more mall threaders for me. read more

You guys....DO NOT GO HERE!! Why would you recommend this place?? I haven't been waxing for a while and I decided to go here because I needed my eyebrows done. The lady thought I was going in for a threading but I actually wanted waxing because they offered both. I had my eyebrows waxed before and when done correctly, I am really not red afterwards. Not only was I super red afterwards, I also felt like the lower part of my eye brow was hurt like skin was ripped off or something. The next day I had pimples all along my eyebrow area, which by the way was embarrassing when you have a professional job. After 3 days my skin color returned to normal around my eyebrows. Now, it also looks like I got a black eye because she did rip off some skin under my eyebrow so I have to go to a conference this weekend looking like I was in a fight with rocky. I'm sure these are great people and some people may be good at what they do but honestly, this was a terrible wax job. I hope they improve their services but in the mean time, they lost a customer. read more
