Within weeks of the installation, the seals on several of the windows began to pull off the windows when opened. He called here and the salesman came out to look at them. He basically pushed them back in and told my father he would have someone come out and look at them. Several months later after several unreturned phone calls, still no resolution. And as most folks know, windows are not cheap. He's not looking for a handout, just quality for what he paid and a company that stands behind their product. A call back would be appreciated in this case.

I then began researching Marc's Flooring online (the company Lowe's scheduled me with) and found they had a solid 1.2 star rating with multiple reviews about them doing a bad job, being unreliable, and even damaging customer homes and vehicles. Um, no thanks. I called Lowe's back and asked them to schedule me with a different company and was told they couldn't. Apparently, every Lowe's in our area has an exclusive contract with Marc's flooring or something, because they said they ONLY use Marc's. I cancelled my measurement appointment and went elsewhere for my flooring. I didn't want to knock the star rating down too far since this is regional, but corporate really needs to find a new flooring installer.

We talked with Wes in the flooring department and he was amazing even though it was only a few minutes before their closing time. We got all of the help that we needed and another person came out to our house to measure where the carpet went, so we can figure out how much we need and pay for the installation. I went back a next day to buy some more stuff to treat the floor and also some paint brushes, rollers, and all the equipment that I needed. I also got a lock box for the house. I like Lowe's because they are very helpful and the people that work there seem to actually want to help you as opposed to other places. We will go back here to find all of the things we need for our home.

And, the staff that worked there were friendly. They worked with me and listened to my ideas for a tabletop piece I was making for an outdoor base that I had purchased recently. I looked at a large variety of surfaces in the inventory they had available. In the end we were able to find just the right piece in the pile of remnants that they keep on hand. It fit with my base perfectly. They talked me through how they would create the piece, and I was also able to select the type of beveled edge that I desired. After all the decisions were made, they said the piece would be ready within a few business days. True to their word, it was delivered to me within that time frame. The person who delivered the piece was knowledgeable and helpful when unloading and instructed me on how to move the tabletop safely. He also gave me some advice on how best to attach the piece to the base. Once attached, the final product looks great, the way they cut it to maximize the grain in the marble. Based on this experience, I would definitely trust them to use their services in the future for any kind of kitchen and/or bath remodel that I would do.

As with most folks right now, you might have a delay do to the fall out from COVID-19, they have relationships with producers that can fill your requirement in short order. While we did run into a couple of communications issues at first, we ended up getting the quality of product we wanted at a very fair price. Satisfied? Very much so.
