I soaked them to get them off and they still would not budge. I had to cut them off and soak again until I finally got them all off for a new set. The retention on these were amazing! The only downside was the price, $95 for a gel x set is a little crazy. But I mean, you get what you pay for. I always have issues with nails popping off and I could say these were definitely not popping off without wanting them to. The staff were very friendly as well.

My regular nail technician is traveling, so I came here just wanting to give it a try. I was actually a little nervous because I've had some disappointing experiences at other salons before--sometimes the work felt rushed, and I've even had my skin cut and bleed. But Tan, the owner, completely changed my experience. What normally takes about an hour, he spent nearly two hours doing. He was incredibly patient, gentle, careful, and detail-oriented. He never rushed and made sure every little detail was done beautifully. All of my worries disappeared. After 17 years of getting my nails done, I can genuinely say this is the most satisfied I have ever been--not only with how beautiful my nails turned out, but also with the service and the entire experience. While accidental over-filing can happen from time to time in any salon, what happened next was unacceptable. When I told her it hurt, she laughed and continued drilling. Instead of acknowledging that she had over-filed my nails, she accused me of being "sensitive." As someone who has had my nails done for years, I know the difference between normal filing and having your nail bed drilled too thin. It was painful, and her response was both dismissive and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the nail she aggressively filed broke off the very next day. A week later, another nail chipped in the exact area where she had over-filed it during the appointment. After nearly a year of loyal business and generous tips, I expected better treatment and at least a little accountability. Mistakes happen. What matters is how they're handled. Instead of concern or an apology, I was laughed at and blamed. As a result, they lost a long-time customer. I won't be returning, and I can no longer recommend Eva's Nails based on my experience.

She asked for short almond and got medium almond and the guy servicing her didn't care to cut them shorter to her preference. He also gave her a bubblegum pink base when she asked for a nude base. All around we both felt as if we were not being listened to and that they didn't care about how we wanted our nails to look. Save yourself the headache, pain, and $100 and go somewhere else.

I clearly said "no" multiple times, yet the upselling continued. When I returned to pick up my mother, I was shocked to discover that they had charged me for a gel manicure and pedicure--and, despite my explicit instructions, the nail technician had gone ahead and applied the gel. My mother is elderly and has sensitive skin. She also dislikes the heat associated with gel treatments. I should not have had to repeatedly insist that my wishes--and hers--be respected. I explained to them that they had lost a customer who would have been a loyal monthly client. Unfortunately, the aggressive push to sell additional services and charge more money was more important than respecting a customer's clearly stated wishes. I will take my business elsewhere. I would strongly encourage the owner to reconsider this approach to customer service.
