Second, I was handed the color books and was given ample amount of time to decide which was nice because I'm very indecisive when it comes to selecting one! Lol Third, I was never offered anything to drink. Not water, not soda, not wine, nothing. I had to ask after 30 minutes for water and she still looked confused. Fourth, my nails were filed different lengths. On one foot they look fine, but on my right foot, nails are longer than others. Fifth, the massage I received was not pleasant. She basically ran her hands across my legs and feet for 5 minutes and then finished pulling off the paraffin wax. The one good thing I enjoyed about the pedicure, is the color I picked out. That's it. Prices: basic pedicure= $28 Paraffin wax= $5 Shellac= $12 Total= $45 Is shellac really that much? Geez! Anywho... if you are looking for a subpar nail salon, this is your spot.

I finally got in, as they moved to a new location. I opted for a non gel pedicure and was surprised by the experience. I am used to having my feet soaked prior to service and after reading about the difference. It's more hygienic to do it waterless. Everything lasts longer! Crystal did not service me, but she noticed that I was new and made sure that I was comfortable and enjoyed my experience. This is a black owned business and the ladies were great. The ambiance is still in progress, but it was clean and neat. She makes her own scrub that is available for sale. Parking is ample and it's next door to Ross! I wanted to try another Nails of America and see if I could find my new salon. Parking at this location is really easy in the attached garage. I really appreciate areas in the heights that have good parking. I got a shellac gel manicure with added pearl chrome, which was an additional $15. I also got a pedicure. I really liked both of my technicians and I wish I would've gotten their names. They both took their time and the quality was excellent. I especially enjoyed how long they left the paraffin wax on my feet. They have a happy hour 9 AM to 2 PM every weekday. Unfortunately, they do not have the same specials as the other locations. I went on a Tuesday hoping that they had the 10% off for teachers like the other locations have. They did not, but I did get 5% off for writing a Google and yelp review.
