What an improvement!! I have come here a few times over the years, and it's never been great. I had heard the management changed and I was needing a quick manicure and pedicure, so I decided to give it another try. My total before tip was $76 for a basic pedicure with regular polish and a gel manicure. I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly nail tech, who asked what I was looking for. I have very very short nails (stress nail biter over here!) and she I typically dread having to show them, but she was kind and helpful!! My pedicure was very relaxing and the polish is perfect. My gel manicure transformed my nails and she really took the time to tidy them up. I especially loved the massage and lotion. It was busier than expected for an early Friday afternoon but the whole staff was attentive and quick. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely be returning!! read more

I tried this nail shop out to support a local spot. I've been going to the same salon for years in puyallup but wanted to give this salon a try. I am disappointed! My nails were $48 for a chrome fill. That's a little high but my biggest complaint is that the woman doing my nails stopped *THREE* times to get on her phone! The first time I let it go but seriously, three times?! Like midway thru filing my nails?! It was disrespectful and beyond that she was rude and pushy. Well it's the only place to go in Orting to get your nails done so I figured I would test the waters. I got right in on a Friday evening, which was surprising. They were busy, but not slammed and I was greeted kindly when I walked in the door with my 8 year old son. It was a quick trip, they got me in and out in less than an hour and did a great job. I asked for my nails really short and most places hardly cut any of your nails off because they like them longer. I just got a shellac manicure and it was the cheapest I've ever paid for decent service. They were kind to me and let my son watch and ask a ton of questions. It's not the cleanest looking or the biggest, but I will definitely be back to get my nails done here again. We will see how I feel in a couple days from now to see if anything has chipped off. Even when nothing goes wrong, this salon is mediocre at best. Expect to get cut and bleed if you get a pedicure, that is if you can even get the service you made an appoint for at all. I made an appointment for a pedicure for noon, arrived a few minutes early, got sat down in my chair at noon, and waited 40 minutes without a single word from any of the employees about what was going on. As soon as I asked for a towel to dry my feet off that had been soaking for 40 minutes, then they came up to me and said sorry they are running behind and someone will come right now to start my pedicure. I declined and chose to leave since my appointment was delayed 40 minutes without any communication from staff. I will not ever be returning and advise that anyone considering KC nails choose a different salon. Trust me, it's worth it to drive farther away to have a decent nail salon experience which you will not find here! read more

Although Tina does great work, I am giving them a one start because for 3 days in a row there was scheduling issues and the last day I had an appointment. I understand nail salons are busy, but the way they handle their business with walkins and appointments is unprofessional. Do not take a walk in 5 min before you have an appointment and definitely do not over book. They double booked me and another girl today and wasn't ready for either of us because she took in a walk-in pedicure. Just disappointed because it's local and Tina did a good job, but time is money. read more

Worst experience ever. I came there for the full set and I was so disappointed after wasting my money on this. It looked horrible after the young lady did that. I don't think she has any ideas what she was doing. Even the eyebrows wax, she made it look uneven. She did it in rush. I don't think I will come back the second time. Eek! Eh, I have mixed feelings about this place. I've gone here a couple times for a full set and each time I've walked out kind of disappointed. They don't know how to do most of the designs that are popular nowa days, and even showing them a picture doesn't help. The keep the nails vey thick and bulky looking and they don't have a very wide selection of nail polish. If you want to get a wax though, this place is great for that and that only. I found a new nail place in Covington, they actually do the designs I want and the nails look great. Worth the drive. read more

Oh my. Short staffed as they sent two home early . I came in for a Pedi and John spent so much time cranking his neck around to see who was coming in the door or calling that he cut me twice and kept forgetting where he was in the process. He left me sitting there 3 times while just taking off my old polish (just polish not gel). The Pedicure that was happening beside me came in after me and she was left 3 times to wax eyebrows. I finally asked John to stop and I would wait for the person next to me to be finished so she could finish mine. Although she kept leaving she at least was actually preforming a pedicure while sitting there. I have went here on and off for years and each time I come back I remember why I went elsewhere. She actually reached over and used two dirty tools that she had just used. As my feet were drying I watched her swish out the bowl with water and wipe with a dirty towel and refill for someone else. The health department needs to make a visit too.:( read more
