I've been a regular here since middle school. In my 30's now. I actually drive from Azusa to Chino Hills to have my threading done here, Always top notch my eyebrows are always on point. Never been disappointed I highly recommend. I saw A review from Mita R- In my opinion the aunty has always been respectful & kind never once got a bad vibe. & never have I heard anyone singing in that establishment. I'm not even Indian & know they would say a few lines along with their prayer saying Amen. I don't think it's wrong or hurtful towards a customer just cause someone is saying Amen. My girlfriend introduced me to this spot and man they made quick work of my brows. They do go a little bit too fast and it can hurt a ton but they did a great job. Brows are $9 but tip is expected too. Service however is very poor and I wouldn't come back here again. AMEX is also not accepted. read more

The lady told me to put my name in and the service and she proceeds to rush me while I'm writing in the log then I told her I wanted to do my full face then she gives me attitude 2-3 times rudely moving me and yelling and I had enough and told her that she had bad attitude the minute I walked in and has the audacity to play victim and says well I was just telling you to move your hand over and she rushed the whole experience and left a lot of hair left over which I just noticed when I got in the car. Terrible service and attitude the girl in the first chair working seemed nice though. I decided to give this place a try because I was approached to come inside and do my eyebrows but I instantly regretted it. I left with two completely different eyebrows. The girl said that one of my brows were already thin and tried to make it seem as if it was my fault. I told her that no one has ever done what she did to my eyebrows and that she did an extremely poor job. Vinny repeatedly apologized for what the other threader did and she even suggested that they make the other brow thinner to match because it didn't look good. It's unfortunate that "Karen" was in such a rush to do my eyebrows after I repeated to her that I only wanted them to be cleaned lightly. It's possible other ladies here do a better job, but I wouldn't take the risk. It seems like she didn't care about what I asked for. I have been here several times over the past 6 years and came yesterday morning for eyebrows & upper lip threading. I went around opening time and was able to be seated right away. Despite being the only customer there, I felt rushed. The person who did my threading was a lot more aggressive than I have ever experienced and I was left with some red marks under my eyebrow that I'm not sure what they are, maybe small burn marks from the thread? I haven't had this happen before but it's still stinging and very uncomfortable, and it's been over 24 hours. Usually I can tolerate threading very well and haven't had an issue but this discomfort from the scars got to me and is lasting much longer than just the immediate sensitivity the few minutes right after threading. There were also a few noticeable eyebrows hairs left over that I cleaned up myself once I got home. I would probably come here again just due to familiarity and convenience/location but the quality of service really depends on the person and is very hit or miss. read more

This was my mom's and my go-to place; however, not after today. We checked that they close at 8 PM (it says that on Yelp and at their door). In addition, I saw the owner answered a question on this Yelp page saying they close at 7:30 PM. We get there at 7:05 PM, and the lady said they were closed. My mom pointed at the hour and gestured to her that it says they close at 8, but she obviously did not let us in. Anyways, found a new place 5 minutes from there. The new place we found, the service was way better, way cleaner, and the lady followed very strict protocols. This place, no one uses a mask or gloves. This was my first time and I would say they did a pretty good job! As soon as I walked in they greeted me and asked me to sign in. She then took me to seat one and started working on my eyebrows. The only complaint I have is that she plucked the hair really slowly, so it HURT. I never usually tear up, but I did this time. That being said, my brows looked great, I just wish she didn't pull the hair so slowly. I also think they should be a little more cognizant of social distancing. When I was done with my appointment, she took me to the register to pay. While I was paying, her colleague asked a customer who had just walked in to sign in on the sheet that was right next to me. Luckily the lady said she'd wait for me to finish, but I feel that the staff should have been more aware. Overall, good job. I would recommend trying this salon. I came in yesterday evening with my daughter, when I asked what my total was, I could've sworn I heard $16. It was my mistake, The lady said "EXCUSE ME! I said $18. I apologized and gave her $22 so that she can pocket a tip. As she counted the money, she place the $4 on the counter and said "I said $18. I kindly told her she could keep the rest. My daughter has beautiful thick eyebrows and now they're ruined. She walked out with two completely different eyebrows. I went for eyebrow threading around 4:30 on a Monday. Staff: quick and to the point. Very efficient and kind. Services: done quickly and well. I liked how my eyebrows were done. She showed me to make sure I thought it was fine, but she didn't initially ask me what shape I wanted. COVID-19: we sat in different areas of the room, so there was enough space, but the chair was not cleaned after every customer and the staff providing the service did not have their mouth and nose fully covered by a mask. Overall, she seemed like a nice lady and very good at her job, but I think giving more attention to being anti-COVID would make the experience more comfortable. read more
