I called to put down my deposit, but was told that because it had almost been a year since my initial consult that I needed to come in again, so I did and was appreciative that I wasn't going to be charged another consult fee. The nurse and staff were all so kind in explaining this to me so I scheduled the second visit. After having pleasant conversations with the aesthetician and nurse, Dr. Khan comes in and seemed different than our first visit (which btw I thought fondly of her from), in this visit she hastily took my measurements again and explained that my breasts were now much more saggy and I needed not just implants, but a lift. I didn't understand her thought process so I explained that and that I didn't want more scars which would be involved with a lift. She then said, "Let me put this into terms you'll understand, you know when you fill a grocery bag with more stuff and it just sags..." ... I think asked, "Do you think my nipples are going to be downward facing if I don't do the lift too?" And she said "I don't know, but that's why you come to me and not Dr. Google." Honestly, I just didn't understand why I couldn't get a better explanation for the lift and maybe I do need one, but if she was treating me like this during consult then I didn't think she would take any of my other questions very well either. My feelings were hurt, I was so excited to schedule surgery coming in, but she didn't seem interested in helping me so I decided to just leave and booked an appointment with another surgeon in the area. I received a haircut as a Mother's Day gift, and it was the worst salon experience I have ever had. During the haircut with Annette, over three inches of my hair was cut off, despite my explicit request to maintain the length. I asked for fluffy, face-framing with lots of layers, but the result was nothing like the inspiration photos I provided. As this was my first haircut in eight years at an actual salon, I was very upset. I cried on the way home and spent my Mother's Day extremely upset about all the length that was cut off after I had spent over a year regrowing it since cutting it postpartum and had finally got it back to a length where i felt like myself again. When I contacted the salon to request a refund, I was met with resistance. I contacted their salon through their Business Instagram and got ZERO response. Their website lacks a clear refund policy, only stating a 50% cancellation fee (which i asked if they could honor so i could get some money back but they refused) there was NOTHING discussing any return policy through services provided. Initially, they didn't offer any refund at all and just for me to come in and "fix" it, when the damage was already done. Then offered barely a refund of the tip and blowout cost, totaling $34, which they confirmed multiple times over the phone after me asking . However, I only received $23 back. Upon calling to inquire about the discrepancy, the staff was incredibly rude. Throughout all our interactions, including when I initially messaged their Instagram page (which received no response), the customer service was consistently poor. There was no apology offered at any point. On the phone they told me it was my fault because I did the math wrong on the amount to be refunded even though I clarified the amount on the original call and they agreed. After this I told them I would be leaving a review and to which the manager Jamie replied "okay see you on google" and hung up the phone. Overall, this was an awful experience marked by a drastic, unwanted haircut and appalling customer service. I cannot recommend this salon to anyone and I will NEVER be coming here again. I wish I could leave a zero star review because I don't even feel as though they deserve one. At the end of 2023, I paid over $2,000 for NAD and went through the entire first round, which I hated. It was 4 days straight, 4 hours each day, and it made me feel awful. Gabby knew I definitely did not want to do this again soon, but convinced me to purchase an NAD credit for $400 and said this would remain on my account whenever I was ready to do it again. In 2024, I got very sick and spent 9 months in the hospital and the following months healing. I was excited to get back to my life and went to Restore to claim my NAD credit only to be told the credit was gone and expired. Gabby then pointed to a "90-day policy" on receipts, but there is absolutely no mention of this anywhere on my receipt. To make matters worse, I've spent thousands of dollars at other wellness and spa centers on service credits and I've never experienced this. Those credits always remained on my account until I was ready to redeem. And the idea that NAD was "bought specifically for me" and therefore couldn't be honored later is ridiculous. That's not how the industry works. if I paid for it, it should be there. I will be canceling my membership, but conveniently they don't allow this option on the app and I will have to contact them directly to cancel.
