Is this place ever open? We've tried to stop by 2-3 times on days when it's supposedly open and it never is?

Folsom Antique Fair - Canines love Antiquing!

Folsom Antique Fair

Fun Antiquing! With Beloved Friends! And Cute Canines!…read more SITREP The thing about the Folsom Antique Fair that really stands out for me is how dog-friendly it is! I don't know if that is because the fair resides on Historic Sutter Street, which presents itself as an easy thoroughfare, but it certainly made for an environment that was truly canine friend. THE SET-UP But I digress. The fair itself was a lot of fun with all the vendors set-up in their booths and their tables all the way from the North(?) side of Sutter Street just up past The Power House to down towards the terminus of Sutter Street close to the City Garage and the Light-rail Station. Both sides of the street had vending going on - and in some instances there were vending tables along the wooden boardwalk / sidewalk up in front of the businesses themselves, especially if the vending tables were related to the immediate adjacent business storefront. WARES & TREASURES! There was so much to see, and my sweet friend Bambi and I tripped into a lot of tables & tents that had some great items that we enjoyed looking at (if not outright laughing at). But there was also some incredible deals to be had. Bambi found a fantastic dress for only $10 and we also made some other random purchases, such as PacMan & Ms. PacMan buttons, and a yarn Octopus and a Cat Jewelry Box. She was soooo stoked to also find a great foot stool for only $15 (which I got to carry the rest of the time. *jesus* - my presence on this trek becomes more apparent with each passing hour!) We were lucky we able to control our impulse buying otherwise the car would have been loaded up, and we would be on the next show of HOARDERS. :D FUN But it truly was a fun event to be part of, and I am happy Bambi dragged me out of bed to accompany her on this festive local trek. LUNCH We were able to make a convenient stop during the Fair and enjoy a delicious Chinese Lunch at Hop Sing Palace right on Sutter Street. And there were so many other cafes, coffee shops and even food trucks one could enjoy and curb their hunger if need be. THE LOWDOWN The Folsom Antique Fair is a truly enjoyable venture on a Sunday Afternoon along Sutter Street in Historic Downtown Folsom!

There are so many types of vendors here and the selection is awesome. Awesome selection of food as…read morewell, because you have the option of the restaurants on Historic Sutter Street and the specialty food trucks that set up shop here. Definitely the best antique faire in the area.
