My contractor then referred me to Antoinette at Redding Tile & Stone and I couldn't be happier. She was up front about everything from cost to function to design, and she spent a dedicated two hours with me showing me my options and making suggestions. I came into her office feeling pretty defeated knowing I wasn't going to be able to get what I wanted, but Antoinette had me smiling and excited by the end of my appointment. I still came in over budget (I think my contractor needs to re-evaluate the cost of materials) but not nearly as high as the other place, and I added a backsplash that wasn't part of the plans. Her associates Liz and Alex were so helpful when it came to looking up pricing, showing me pictures of how materials look when they're installed, and making design suggestions. I know that it was me that took Nancy T. To 3 different flooring places in the Redding area. I was with Nancy T. When the sales people helped us. We looked at many floors. We were there on two different occasions. Nancy was very happy about the flooring she picked out. I was also there at Nancy's home when the 2 men came and installed her flooring. I could see Nancy had very large deep cracks in her cement floor after the carpet was removed. The men spent a few days repairing her floors then putting down moisture barrier down on the floor, I ask the installer what he was doing and he explained it to me. All the people, in the store and the installers were very nice and respectful. I will always go back to Design Time and Tile to have my flooring bought and installed there. Again, on-time, neat and tidy work area and cleaned up afterwards. Both times, Phil did some very quick fixes. For example, my outdoor gate was wonky and he tightened the screws. We were deeply underwhelmed by the poor results. When Ron sent the same employee back, he claimed nothing more could be done and sprayed Pledge furniture polish on the tile for a temporary shine. Having used them before, this disappointing experience means we will not use them again.
