My husband has advance diabetes and other underline issues which Dr Alezk is working on trying to get under control and create a plan of action. He has been nothing but up front and truthful regarding my husband's health and treatments. He stays connected and will answer any questions or concerns we have. Dr Alezk is the 1st and only Doctor/Endocrinologist in years who has taken the time and really dug in deep and explaining my husband's medical illness and what steps that need to be taken. Can not say enough about his office staff, very efficient and patient and will answer any questions you may have. If they don't have an answer they will get back to you in a timely manner.

We had to walk out of an appointment before it even commenced because he refused to accommodate someone with disabilities. He forces you to be a part of his "training other doctors". He he states that it doesn't matter if your disability does not allow it, "that's how he does it!" I wouldn't send my dog to him. Beware. It's a total waste of time. And he'll even be so crass as to charge you for it too! He charges, even though you didn't have an appointment that actually transpired. Very low! He put it on his books anyway. So sad.

I just got home from my first visit to Dr. Jou's office and I have never felt so compelled to write…read morea review and post it ASAP. Yesterday, I called Dr. Jou's office and, unlike the other three endocrinologist offices I called, his front office was extremely warm and welcoming over the phone. I felt it was a great start, but contained my enthusiasm for the time being because I have been disappointed down the road so many times before. Fast forward to today's appointment and the front office staff was just as friendly and accommodating in person. They respected the appointment time and got me back to a room not a minute later than scheduled. The nurse who started off my visit couldn't have been kinder and she even checked in with me while Dr. Jou was finishing up with another patient. When Dr. Jou entered the room, I immediately got great vibes from him and noticed his way of letting the patient talk and truly listening to what is being said. He allowed me to fully express how I was feeling, symptoms I've noticed, and never cut me off. He also entered everything I was telling him directly into his tablet. He was thorough in explaining my test results, options for treatment, and timelines. He did not rush anything and had back up plans for every scenario that were clearly well thought out. I honestly don't think I can say that I've ever visited a doctor who I walked out of their office without the regret of not having been given the opportunity to say something about my situation until now. Even on the 45 minute drive back home from his office, I couldn't think of anything that he didn't cover or allow me the time and opportunity to explain or ask. To add a shred of credibility to my words, I would like to say that my father is a (recently retired) cardiologist who had his own practice in North Hollywood. I spent countless hours with him there from the age of 5 years old through my late teens. Therefore, I know a bit about how difficult it can be to ensure your front office staff, the doctor, and the rest of the overall patient experience are all simultaneously performing at an optimal level. Somehow, Dr. Jou's office pulls off that seemingly impossible feat beautifully. In closing, health struggles can be very scary and stranger, friend, or family, I don't want anybody to ever have a poor experience with a medical office during such a vulnerable and stressful time in their life. Therefore, I sincerely hope that you strongly consider choosing Dr. Jou as your first option if you are in need of an endocrinologist. Wishing you the best of health and the best of life.

They are from a corporation called "United physicians". Thunder and off shore out sourced call center in the Philippines, and they don't give a damn about a patient at all. Stay away from any doctor with "United Physicians", just to save a few bucks, they take jobs away from Americans and send those jobs to the Philippines.

I've waited literally all year since the beginning of January 2023 to be seen and I finally had a appointment today but was informed within less than 24 hrs prior to my appointment that it had been cancelled due to my authorization expiring. Not only was I informed at 4:56pm (and they close at 5pm) but I was told my appointment was cancelled. Not even offering me time to get an extension or a new Authorization. I did my own research and contacted my PCP and insurance to push the auth through (they did and got me a new auth) all for nothing. Evan called my cell left a voicemail saying I can come to the appointment after he had canceled it but I need to get there ASAP. Well I had made arrangements to leave work in plenty of time to make this appointment but when he originally canceled it I didn't bother. My insurance called me to say they had Even on the other line and wanted to 3 way him in I agreed. Evan said they would not accommodate me and I would be too late he than began to yell at me and say I missed a appointment with them just going back and forth. I was so upset I almost drove down to the office to see if he would talk to me like that in person but GOD!!! That's-all I can say. Meanwhile they use virtual health assistants on a different time zone in a different country and it's extremely difficult to communicate with them let alone do something simple like get them to answer the phones. This review is based on Evan and Evan alone. He really must not enjoy what he does for a living and it clearly shows. Management needs to read the google reviews and step it up.

For the first time, I felt truly seen and heard during my son's appointment. Instead of band-aid fixes, Dr. Hoyt offered real-life solutions for long-term health, using his expertise to look at my son as a whole individual to give him the best possible chance at a healthy, fulfilling life. I had previously left our pediatrician's office feeling uneasy after being told "everything looks good" when I knew in my heart that wasn't the case. Dr. Hoyt actually cares about proactive care--focusing on what keeps you healthy now and prevents a lifetime of illness and medication management down the road. This is what healthcare should look like: real conversation, clear explanations of health, genuine support, and deep care--all the things that seem to be lacking in so many doctors' offices today. He made myself, my husband, and especially my son feel completely comfortable and supported. This is true preventative healthcare: getting you well and keeping you well, rather than waiting for illness to strike before acting. It is every parent's dream. I cannot recommend Hoyt Integrative Health enough!

I was relying on coffee throughout the day to keep myself going. At night I would toss and turn, never getting restful sleep. I was desperate for it. I had almost constant body aches, and if I did anything physical I "paid" for it in joint and muscle pain for days after. I didn't want to go to the doctor and be put on a new medication. I needed a solution to the root of my pain, not a bandaid. I sought out a functional doctor in my area and found Dr. Hoyt and his wonderful staff. On my initial visit I learned that I was full of inflammation, and the next visit it was all confirmed with my blood test results. In two weeks of following his plan I got my sleep back. In a month I no longer had chronic joint pain issues. In the 6 months I lost 44 lbs and regained my health! I have changed my nutrition and now respect how my body can heal itself. I am feeling so great now - I can't thank Dr. Hoyt enough. My insurance did not cover it - but what I gained was worth every penny.
