I drove 25 minutes only to get there to find out the kitchen was closed due to they ran out of food. Not good business for me it's One and done! We took our self to Captain's Place in Acushnet where the Portuguese do not run out of food! I would not recommend this place! And the worker said we will be open on Monday. Poor Business! read more

The woman working the front cashier position was above and beyond. Her shirt read Be Nice and it truly is what everyone should embody at all times. She lit up helping customers, truly was present with each group that came through & built rapport in an instant. I wanted to give her (I totally forgot to get her name) five stars!!!! The reason the rating is lower is bc the wait time was unusually long for two sandwiches. If you don't have a thirty minute wait period, I'd maybe consider somewhere else. And of course this is my experience. It might not always be this way. The sandwiches were good. I thought there would be more than two thin thin slivers of apple in the turkey apple cheddar, but perhaps I should have asked ahead of time. My expectations weren't met and I own that. For an atmosphere of friendliness, if I had a table near the woman at the front, I'd be there hands down. If it was the rush of the rest of the workers, I probably won't return anytime soon. It was good but nothing anyone who got food was excited about enough to share Parking is very easy! Which is great when you don't want that extra hassle. I stopped in here for lunch for two while visiting the area and seeing the great reviews. They had a lot of different healthy sandwiches as well as salads for their lunch menu as well as some baked goods. The inside is really cute with some outside seating, which is all well cleaned. The folks in side were all friendly as well and quick to make the food and bring it out to you. The food was tasty, definitely made well with good ingredients, I did find it a bit expensive however. The sandwiches didn't come with anything and for the price I felt they should at least come with a bag of chips. Overall though I'd recommend a visit in! read more

I have truly enjoyed grabbing sandwiches from Kate's. Between the Turkey Club Wrap or BBQ Pulled Pork, along with a great dill pickle on the side. Staff at the store truly provide "Service with a Smile" everyday. I will say my experience has been amazing, while wait time for food is minimal. As far as consistency, I think my sandwich is being cloned in the kitchen. Enjoy what you find on the menu. Although space is limited, I don't think anyone would disapprove of their choices for lunch. If I still had a sailboat, these would be perfect travel sandwiches. I popped in here recently to grab a quick bite to go. The decor is very cute and I do like that rustic farmhouse look. Very inviting. For breakfast I decided on the avocado toast and asked for eggs on top. I asked the young lady at the register what kind of egg came on it and she said "it's an egg patty". Hmmmm....not sure what an egg patty is but ok. So, I've had avocado toast all over the country and have a lot to compare it to. This was tossed multi grain bread with a few slices of avocado on top and PRECOOKED eggs. No seasoning, not mashed avocado, no real eggs. It was just sort of haphazardly tossed together without any thought. If you serve breakfast you need to serve fresh eggs. Anything less is unacceptable. I had to disassemble it and try to make it look like real avocado toast when I got home but there was no saving the rubber previously frozen eggs I was given. Avocados should be sliced and then slightly mashed and spread over the bread, seasoned with salt and pepper (with the option for red pepper flakes), sometimes even topped with some micro greens and a 6 minutes soft boiled egg or a pan fried egg. read more

Overall we had a good experience. We decided to get luck to eat at the beach and this seemed like the perfect fit. The BLT may have not been the best choice since the bacon got pretty tough while I was eating it. I had to go back for silverware for my wife's lobster salad because they weren't included. They apologized profusely and gave me a free big of chips for the trouble. She loved he salad, they were SO generous with the Lobster and the jalapeño lime dressing struck the perfect chord for her.
