Whether I am looking for myself or for a special gift I am always happy when I leave. The selection is huge. Everything is organized by color or type of clothing. The swim suit section is fantastic. I'm annoyed i forgot to get her name to give her some Yelp love, but she helped us find a super puff jacket (the warmest coats!) and another super puff vest that wasn't in stock so had it shipped to our house. There was a small line for the fitting room, but seemed short after what we had just waited in at Brandy Melville across the street. And checkout was a breeze. I find their quality really great and their pricing fair (maybe pricey if you're buying it for a 13 year old). Came in on a Monday evening around 6:30, they're not many people in the store so I kind of enjoyed a little more as I am a more relaxed shopper and get more anxiety with a lot of people running around. I had to return a sweater and I went to browse a few items to use for the remaining balance of my gift card, a very nice woman help me pick out a few options that she thought we might look good with the clothes that I already had in my hand. She had also gotten me a fitting room, but I had to ask the other employees for help with the fitting as she was more on the floor sales -which is totally totally fine. Finally found a dress that I liked and checkout was fine but I live in Chicago, so I definitely should know that there is a bag tax. I just totally forgot and definitely wouldn't have taken the bag if they would have said something.

First of all I thought we were shopping at Nordstrom and as we entered the building I noticed various small shops one after another and said that this Nordstrom is like a mall....here we are The Shops at North Bridge right in the midst Magnificent Mile of Chicago. There are multi-levels filled with various shops and it seems to be not in but connected to Nordstrom as the dividing section seems to be the Jellycat and E Bar. There are escalators along with directory is provided though at the moment they seem to be under construction but getting around has not changed but just finding some of the shops was more the issue for me personally since I don't know the area well but with a bit of luck did find Royce Chocolate which is one of my favorite bougie treat that I shop for in Japan is a great find that I'm thrilled about. Looked like a mall with potential with many options and stores with Nordstrom as the anchor. I did se great deals and sales displayed. The restrooms are spacious and clean and saw many seating or rest areas to relax and enjoy as you walked the mall and many charging stations available. It's not clear exactly what renovations or construction was taking place but scaffolding took over the entire mall making it harder to navigate and ruined the esthetics and vibe of what the mall has to offer in my opinion!

I usually hit up Bloomingdale's across the street for my fix; this location, with its spacious interiors and vast accessory and shoe sections to complement the delectable wearables, made me realize just what I was missing. As a walk down retail memory lane, Cop Copine (now in the 900 North Shops) used to be in this location. There was only one other customer in the store and the retail experience was what I appreciate the most- attentive without being overbearing. I ended up with a dress for an event in April (originally $600, marked down to $350) and a skirt and top. Unfortunately for me - maybe not so much for my pocketbook - the full skirt that I was eyeing (on full price) was not available in my size. The personalized service and nifty garment bag that folded up and over into shopping-bag proportions all contributed to my good shopping vibes. Word to the wise: the sale will be ending in a matter of days, at which time all the goods will be packed up and shipped off to the warehouse to make way for Spring 2015 goods. If you want to check out the sale goods while they still last, I suggest coming here without delay.
