Not only did they arrive hours ahead of time to setup and make sure everything would be ready in plenty of time for our guests to use upon entering our reception, but when my parents were cleaning up at the end they offered to transport our giant bar back with them to the Bangor area. Wow! Guests are still talking about how much fun they had in the "photo lounge" and thanks to Photo Booths of Maine, we received digital and hard copies of every single photo strip with messages from each guest in a gorgeous keepsake book that Kevin mailed us the day after our event! My husband had so much fun, we are already looking forward to his 40th birthday party next September so we can work with Photo Booths of Maine again. I had the crab cakes which were delicious but small for anyone with an appetite. The salad was fresh and well sized. My husband had the duck and it looked very good, he liked it. I opted for the scallops and risotto- I'd say it was the least tasty of the apps and entrees. Scallops were excellent but the risotto was a bit odd. It was a massive serving with lots of ingredients but lacked flavor. Raspberry Crème Brûlée for dessert was just OK. Love the outdoor rooftop bar. Will try that for a drink before dinner on our next visit. There are cute rooms with pool table, seating and games. Complimentary valet service. Will be back!

There were two bedrooms (one had a king sized bed and one had two double beds), two bathrooms (one had a jacuzzi), a kitchen, and living room with a dining table. The toilet bowl in one of the bathrooms was stained, but it was a minor matter since everything was clean. This community IS called a resort, and I agree that it is a bit misleading, BUT they do have a pool and game/activity room in the main office. We were still blown away by the comfort and cleanliness of our apartment, and will definitely stay here again when visiting Acadia!
