I was thrilled when she was available to be my photographer! I am in Mass and we were getting married in Maine and she made everything so easy. She had so many helpful documents and all the online payments were so convenient. She answered all my questions and always made me feel important. We opted out of the engagement shoot and in hind sight, I wish we did it to have even more awesome pics. On my wedding day Kate was so calm and pleasant to be around. Her and her second shooter, who is her mom (so cute!), were like photo ninjas and other than the formal picture times I barely noticed them. Yet, they captured everything! The pics were fun and candid. She also has an amazing way of capturing colors. My pictures represent my wedding day perfectly. The blog with sneak peaks were up in less than 2 weeks and the flash drive was at my house in about 3 weeks. So fast and efficient. The packaging the flash drive came in was so cute too! We spoke for about 15 minutes during our first call and they were so nice and could tell they truly cared about our photo shoot. Prior to us coming up to bar harbor they were very communicable and were emailing me about potential locations. They went to the location we agreed upon a couple days before to make sure the lighting and sun were perfect for our shoot. The day of, Laurel was texting me about the weather and they were super flexible with everything going on. Right at 6 she texted me saying her and her husband were in town and they were heading to the spot. When we got there they were pretending to take pictures of their kids. It was so cute. While he was taking the photos of us, he would have us look at the captured photos on a large high definition screen(maybe 42" screen) that was in the studio. He would ask us what we liked about the photos and what we didn't like. In response to our individual answers, he restructured how he took the following photos and coached us through repositioning ourselves to get the perfect shot. After we took all the photos, he scrolled through them individually flagging the ones we liked. After flagging them, he let me decide on which ones we wanted for processing. His turn around time for the photos was fast, and the quality of the photos portrayed the professionalism my company needed. He is someone who enjoys what he does, and is great at it.
