I am truly amazed and so grateful for Don, Gabe, and the team at Crafty Canine Club. They have a ton of certified experience and have done fantastic behavioral modification work with my French Bulldog (and myself) in their board and train programs. I have learned to be a better leader for my dog and how to keep him mentally balanced so he's at his best. The structure of the training programs and regular boarding at CCC are solid and well planned so our furry family can learn and have fun in a safe environment while in the care of strong leadership. A bonus in my particular case; CCC techniques are aligned with what is recommended by my board certified vet behaviorist and was covered by my pet insurance. CCC communicates with me openly and regularly before, during, and after any bookings and will send photos and videos of the fun which helped ease my thoughts in the beginning. A young girl came out, barely spoke to me, told her it was my first time and could I see where he will be sleeping. She had to go ask! Another person comes out and lets me in. He shows me the crates and I was so disappointed. Crates lined up along a dark filthy room. Smelled, dirty, dog hair everywhere! I should of left but I was in a bind as we were leaving first thing in the am and I had no backup! A week later I picked him up and again texting to let them know I was there. My dog came home filthy, smelled and half of his food was still in his container which obviously was left outside as it was covered in dirt. He has been at her daycare almost daily for the last 5 months, and we've had him boarded countless times, from a day to a week. Sue is wonderful with all of the dogs and is very flexible with our scheduling needs. Her house and backyard are a doggy paradise. The dogs can enjoy being inside her lovely home, in a covered sun porch or outside playing in the yard. Our dog is always exhausted after returning home from a day of play! Sit, down, stay, leave it, more respect with the cats and my resident dog at home, and way more confidence. From the phone to drop-off they were excellent at staying in contact and making sure everything we needed was addressed. They kept that same level of communication and dedication during our furry friend's stay, which definitely made me comfortable and secure in leaving my dog there. When we picked up our dog, we were walked through everything that was worked on and were blown away. The progress was undeniable. He's helped train many, many dogs (even some former dogs of my own because they were taking me for walks when it very well should be me taking them for walks)! And ~ not only that but Hector reinstates the training in their weekly camp visits too! What I love about camp is the team truly does it all! Rumi shows up twice a day, waking them up, feeding them, taking them for walks, cleaning up after them, and putting Lincoln and Tucker to bed each night.
