I would pick my dog up and everything seemed fine. The last time I went to pick up my 7 month olds puppy from boarding, I parked my car and was walking by the fenced play area (which you can't see through). As I walked by, I could clearly hear my dog barking as she is young, just discovered her bark, and probably smelled me. As I walked by, I heard VERY CLEARLY (management) the staff in the yard say in a frustrated voice to one of the dogs (better not have been my dog) "shut the fuck up or im going to kick you". I was furious walking in to pick Kira up and asked the front desk who was out there with my dog stating RESPECTFULLY that if she was threatening my dog like that they needed to bring that staff member out so I could speak to her directly. Front desk said they would speak to her and get there manager. I stated that if she was speaking to my dog I WOULD be speaking with her. Speaking to the manager, he stated that that was out of character for the staff member and that sometimes people get frustrated working with dogs. I left after thanking the manager for hearing what I had to say but not feeling heard whatsoever. The manager texted me a day later not to follow up on that, but to follow up on training I had inquired on. I thoroughly expressed my concerns to him via text, and how concerned I was for the treatment of the animals in there care with these kinds of threats openly in ear shot of customers (what happens behind closed doors?). I never received a response and never received a follow up. That was now weeks ago. My question is, WHY WOULD I MAKE THAT UP? We never had any issues prior boarding our dog there or dropping off for day care, never complained before etc. This was a genuinely shocking experience and I was in disbelief. I would urge you to pick somewhere else. No animal deserves to be threatened like that, empty threat or not.

I am truly amazed and so grateful for Don, Gabe, and the team at Crafty Canine Club. They have a ton of certified experience and have done fantastic behavioral modification work with my French Bulldog (and myself) in their board and train programs. I have learned to be a better leader for my dog and how to keep him mentally balanced so he's at his best. The structure of the training programs and regular boarding at CCC are solid and well planned so our furry family can learn and have fun in a safe environment while in the care of strong leadership. A bonus in my particular case; CCC techniques are aligned with what is recommended by my board certified vet behaviorist and was covered by my pet insurance. CCC communicates with me openly and regularly before, during, and after any bookings and will send photos and videos of the fun which helped ease my thoughts in the beginning. Now, I will only use CCC for care and follow up training for my boy. I believe they truly care about him and our relationship. A very small investment for huge lifelong returns you won't regret!

I was going out of town for a week and was nervous about leaving my 12 year old dog at the (well known) Kennel I'd used before. She has Cushings Disease and I was concerned about her getting too stressed out at the other facility. When I used to pick her up (from the other kennel) she was always hoarse from barking so much and I didn't like the fact that they had to eat, sleep, poop and pee in the same little kennel "cell". I found Country Kennels online and decided to drive out there unannounced to check it out (and I brought Leah with me). They were extremely friendly and offered to watch Leah up front while I got a tour of the facility. The FIRST thing I noticed was that each Kennel had it's own dog run! So my dog could sleep in her bed indoors, but go thru the doggy door and go outside and do her business whenever she wanted. LOVED that! She was there for almost 7 days and I paid extra to have her bathed right before pick up. Needless to say, she was NOT hoarse from barking (a good sign!) and they did a great job with her bath! One last thing, she was diagnosed with an ear infection at the Vet, the DAY before I was supposed to leave! So stressful. But when I explained that she would need ear drops and ear cleaning each day, they were totally fine with that and sure enough when I picked her up, her ear infection was completely gone (verified by the Vet) so I know they took her treatment seriously. I have since recommended this Kennel to all my friends :)
