Specifically, Misty was wonderful and we were super happy with her service. Her reports were very detailed and I can tell that our cats were happy hanging out with Misty too. However, this review is more on Scott who runs the business. I've asked Scott's pet service company three times. And for two out of three I had negative experience with the way Scott behaved or talked to me. I'd give 1 star to Scott's behavior, due to a disappointing experience that I had interacting with him. Scott's negative attitude and lack of respect made me uncomfortable. The way he talks is as if he is the guardian of all the cats in the world and he knows more about our cats than we do Scott gave me the impression that he tries to bust me, or initimidate and undermine me. A good sitter should respect the owner's wishes and follow their routines that they have established through years of living and loving their cats. But what I saw from Scott was completely opposite. He kept interfering with our routines and trying to undermine our decisions. The way he behaves is as if we have to report to him for the decisions and routines that we have for our cats with whom we've had the pleasure of living for over 3 years. This is not acceptable. He should more mindful of the way he interacts & talks with people and respect their privacy and routines.

From the moment we arrived until we left, the care we received was exceptional. Dr. Campbell was incredible. I had a lot of questions and concerns, and not once did she make me feel rushed, dismissed, or like I was being difficult. She would sit down with me, explain what she was seeing, what our options were, and why she was recommending what she was recommending. She was patient, thorough, articulate, and confident without ever being condescending. I was having an extremely difficult time with the decision to put Remi through surgery, and she gave me the information I needed without ever pressuring me. I remember telling my wife that if Remi had to have surgery, I was incredibly grateful Dr. Campbell was the one taking care of her. The surgery went extremely well. Dr. Campbell found and removed the obstruction, and thankfully Remi's intestines were healthy. Afterward, she took the time to explain what she found, how Remi did, what to expect during recovery, and even discussed an unrelated finding so we could monitor it in the future. There are people who are technically excellent at what they do, and there are people who are excellent at taking care of the human being on the other side of the exam table. Dr. Campbell is both. Benji was also incredible. His focus was on making sure I was okay during an extremely difficult night. He checked on me constantly, went out of his way to ask if there was anything he could do, and always seemed to show up at the right time with a positive attitude and some reassurance. His kindness was genuine, and those small gestures made a much bigger difference than he probably realizes. Theresa took amazing care of Remi after surgery. She was incredibly patient, kind, and sweet with her. It was obvious that Remi was with someone who genuinely cared about her comfort and recovery. Theresa patiently answered all of our questions, kept us informed, and gave us a lot of peace of mind. Natalie was fantastic as well. She carefully went through the estimates with me and made sure everything was clearly explained. While I was away, she even took photos of Remi and sent them to me so I could see that she was doing okay. At the end, Natalie found a roughly $200 credit that was owed back to us and made sure it was refunded. After such a significant and unexpected veterinary bill, that level of transparency gave me a lot of confidence that Remi's care was truly the priority, not simply maximizing the bill. I also want to recognize everyone whose names I unfortunately didn't get. Especially in the beginning, I was so worried about Remi that remembering names was about the last thing on my mind. The surgical team was amazing. They kept me informed every step of the way, explained what was happening, what was normal, what to expect, and how Remi was doing. After Remi came out of surgery, they did everything they could to reassure me and make me feel better--even while immediately preparing for another surgery. Their compassion during what was obviously an incredibly busy night meant a lot. There was also a nurse who cared for Remi after surgery whose name I unfortunately didn't get. She was incredible. I had a lot of questions, and she patiently answered every one of them. She made sure Remi was constantly checked on and did everything she could to keep her comfortable while she recovered. I wish I had gotten everyone's names because there are more people who deserve to be recognized individually. Every person we encountered, from start to finish, treated Remi and our family with kindness and compassion. This was one of the hardest experiences I've had with Remi, but I never once felt like we were going through it alone. I trusted this team with a member of my family, and I would do so again without hesitation. Thank you to Dr. Campbell and everyone at VEG for taking such incredible care of our girl--and for taking care of us along the way.

1 star Extremely…read moredisappointing experience. I brought my dog, my Baby Teddy to this ER because he was clearly in significant pain and his condition was getting worse. He was jumping, biting at the affected area, keeping his tail down, having difficulty walking, and eventually having difficulty eating. I left feeling that the diagnosis was essentially a guess rather than a thorough effort to determine what was actually causing his pain. The treatment did not help, and Teddy continued to get worse. I called back today because I was extremely concerned and needed help. During the call, the staff member actually hung up on me. I called back and specifically asked to speak with the manager. I was told the manager was "in a meeting," and she refused to come to the phone. Being hung up on when you are desperately trying to get help for my dog, my son, who is still suffering was extremely upsetting and completely unacceptable to me. I paid for emergency veterinary care expecting a thorough evaluation, answers, compassion, and appropriate follow-up. Instead, I am still trying to figure out what is wrong with my dog, my baby, while he continues to be in pain. I understand that not every veterinary case has an immediate answer. What I cannot accept is the lack of follow-up, the way my concerns were handled, and being hung up on after paying for emergency care. Teddy is not just a pet. He is my baby, beloved member of my family. I expected much better care, communication, and compassion from an emergency veterinary hospital.
