She carved out time weeks before the wedding for us to meet each other and talk about our dog's (Louie) temperament, our expectations, and the full game plan for the big day. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing she was prepared and genuinely cared about making everything go smoothly. On the wedding day, she was amazing. She arrived early to the Airbnb and was able to get used to walking and handling Louie. She walked Louie down the aisle, handled him and helped him greet guests during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and kept everything completely stress-free for us. She kept us updated via text throughout the day, and when it was time to drop him back off at our Airbnb in the evening, she sent photos and updates so we knew he was settled and happy. She even left us the sweetest wedding gift, which was such a thoughtful touch. Misty was kind, professional, organized, and clearly loves what she does. I spoke with my husband on each and he agreed with me, DOTR was the best sounding. We reached out, told them about our beautiful 5 yr old Great Dane. They did the research within the company to find a best fit. Carter came out to our home after some communication. He LOVED our dog, she loved him. Carter and his wife were hooked and accepted her with open arms. The day to leave was here. She got a bit anxious seeing our luggage. My husband drove her a short distance over and dropped her off. She loved it, and they were so loving right back. We had updates regularly, both in email and pictures. It looked like she was on vacation. We are booking again for Thanksgiving this year. Unfortunately, Carter is not available, but they connected us with Madeline. We already know that this is going to be a great experience for Madeline and our pup (6 yr old at that time).

Yet, the time and schedule demands that come with being a business owner got me searching on YELP to see who was out there. I've been attending Anne Platt's "Fast Track" agility class for about 2 months. Fast Track is her…read morebeginning group sessions designed to give handlers and dogs an overview of the sport and get up and running very quickly. Anne is a very experienced, knowledgeable and patient trainer. She primarily trains the handler (generally the dog owner) how to train the dog. Thus, sessions are active and physical for both dogs and handlers. The facility is nicely setup -- great equipment, securely fenced, lit in the evening, and nicely maintained. I enthusiastically recommend the class to anyone interested in agility training with their dog. Dog Quest Agility offers classes at every level, from the beginners in Fast Track to the competition-focused advanced classes. As far as my participation goes, we're just enjoying ourselves and learning about this exciting sport. I get excercise, my dog is becoming more socialized (not really a goal of agility, but it's bringing him out of his shell), and we get to spend time working together outdoors in a nice open air facility. I'm glad I found Dog Quest. If you're looking for a fun activity to do with your dog, check it out!

Leila, the owner of Bark Brigade, and Betsy (her assistant), are both exceptionally attentive to the needs of every pup she in their care. On any given day, they bring between 4 and 10 dogs to the park, all of varied age, ability and temperament. What impresses me every time is that Leila never lets any of the dogs get away with being lazy while at the park (with the exception of the senior citizens). She also ensures Leila makes sure Bear (the big Bermese mountain dog seen in the pictures) plays with the rest of the pups, even if he needs a little coaxing. He is, after all, a people pup above all. She makes sure that Saffron (the white lab) doesn't trample park newcomers with her sometimes over-eager playfulness. She also separates any dogs that seem to have a bad attitude for that day, which allows the rest of the crew to still get their playtime in. I trust Bark Brigade with my pup without hesitation, and I would encourage anyone that considers their dog as a child to try Bark Brigade too.

Whenever I come home in the evening after my pet has been with the Bark Brigade for the afternoon, he is always worn out. Plus Betsy leaves me a note letting me know how the afternoon went; I like to hang the best ones up on my fridge. I can't say enough good things about the Bark Brigade.
