They were super accommodating, communicative, and they took the best care of our two dogs (who can be needy and a little high maintenance). One dog is a blind senior and the other one is a little anxious due to being a rescue. Each sitter took the time to make sure our pups were comfortable with them and followed the directions we laid out. They sent updates and pictures after every visit, which significantly calmed the helicopter pet parent in me. Special shoutout to Kennedy who became best buds with my usually shy, slow-to-warm-up dog! She's so respectful about making sure to accommodate any requests (no shoes inside, wiping paws, etc). I'm usually not at home when Angie comes, but there have been occasions where I still ask her to come when I'm working from home, if I have back to back mid-day meetings. The only reason for stars taken off is because my dog has come back home TWICE with worm related parasite illnesses. When I confronted them, they tried to assure me that the place is cleaned thoroughly. I attempted to let them know how the diseases are transmitted (as I work in veterinary medicine), but they only assured me they cleaned the area. Since there are cameras, it is apparent that they clean at the end of the day, but not fully when a dog pees or poops. This is how they are transmitted. They do not require your dog to be on any prevention either, which could also attribute to it since unfortunately some do not have their animals on prevention. I am so sad because a lot of the employees were so sweet to my girl and she always had a blast! :(
