It was a little weird to be barefoot in the store at first but then it seemed normal. The care and attention of the rep was really nice as he continued to give me options for what I wanted. I tried on 3 different pairs of shoes and decided on hokas. The color I wanted wasn't in store but Collin was able to get them ordered online ! I tried a couple insoles on the shoes I wanted and picked the best feeling ones. I was even able to go back and forth on what I wanted without feeling pressured. Once I decided, I paid for my shoes and insoles and they'll be shipped to the store in no time!! I really thank you for your help Collin!! Great customer service with reasonable prices.

Carter approached us immediately and quickly brought out the pair of Gaviota 5 HOKA sneakers that my husband ordered 4 days ago. They fit fine but I knew it was not what he really wanted and inquired if they had a particular Brooks style in stock. Carter quickly returned with the Brooks sneakers. They fit better! Within 2 minutes, the exchange was completed with the new pair costing almost $40.00 less. Win - Win, for sure! We both liked the low stress vibe and interaction with Carter. Is there a pair of orange Brooks in my future? Fleet Feet will be my first stop!

My father has been going to this store for over a decade to get his work shoes however after his…read moreexperience today I am telling him to stop. He was given such a terrible experience because the shoes he got originally to wear after a major surgery didn't fit so he wanted to return them and exchange the product for some work pants. He didn't even want a cash refund and if the cost of the exchange was over the original amount he was perfectly fine paying the difference. He had to argue with the woman because she kept saying it was his fault that the shoes he got did not fit. Once he finally got her to talk to the manager she reluctantly agreed that he could exchange the shoes for pants. As my father was looking at the work pants another customer came to get a refund on some shoes he bought. The same exact woman stated of course you can return your shoes we have a 30 day comfort guarantee. I guess she didn't think my father was worthy of the same guarantee. My father had worn the shoes a single time and she was giving him a hard time because he had worn them to work once. Overall the woman was extremely condescending and rude to him for absolutely no reason. I hope the manager of this store can help her understand that her treatment towards him was wrong. Long story short if you go to this store you better hope that the workers actually like you in every way or the experience you will receive will be like having your teeth pulled. I personally will not be going here anymore I might go to the store in Summerville and hope that this was just a single bad incident and that it isn't a systemic issue with bootjack in general.

Fleet feet is a professional running shoe store and since I'm somewhat of a runner, I've visited…read moremany of their shops in different states. For those who might not know what professional shoes sales means, well it's no "Rack Room Shoes", not that it's a bad thing, rather for a focused audience. From a novice runner or a seasoned veteran, Fleet Feet is one of the most reputable stores for high-performance and specialized shoe sales in the greater Charleston/Summerville area. One thing I didn't know is that this is locally owned, not corporate like in TX, KS, MO and NC. That means, if you shop here, you're supporting local owners, which means a lot to me. FF offers an array of different brands and builds to help all sorts of runners with feet issues. For instance, my body isn't exactly a marathon build which means I need almost customized shoes. I have a wider foot and it pronates (rolls) to the inside along with falling arches. FF was able to take my input and offer several styles and brands which address the issue. Their staff are very well versed in what runners need and it's reassuring when a salesman pulls out 4 different shoes all with different functions. They helped find the exact pair which addresses my running and has allowed me to comfortably run without issues. I settled on the Asics GT 1400 GT which helped my feet after I broke them in along with my back and shins (plantar fasciitis is no joke so plan accordingly). Moreover, the staff also has accessories which any runner should consider. They carry several different running sticks to workout trigger points, foam rollers, go (energy for the go!), wicking socks, compression wear, electronics, etc. The staff isn't pushy but when asked they are very good about giving the customer exactly what they need. Finally, if you set up an appointment they can scan your feet for for the exact shoes you need and I believe they can even judge your gate to offer advice. That's doctor level assistance! I can't stress enough how valuable a reputable store Fleet Feet is and I highly encourage anything to give them a "looksie" and see what all products they have for you. If you're just starting up or a long-time runner, this store can help you achieve success. From my experience the staff will have a smile on their face helping you out along with chit chatting about upcoming races. A truly great customer experience with a staff that truly cares for you!

I've always bought a pair and hope they would work out. Today I went to fleet feet and I'm so glad I went! When I first got in, I got asked a couple of questions on what i was looking for, if I had any injuries etc and then I got my feet scanned. The running specialist was very informative and gave a thorough detail of both my feet which was super helpful. Afterwards, I went through several pairs of running shoes until I found a pair I liked! The nice part with fleet feet is that there is a 60 day return policy if you're not satisfied with the shoes selected. The downtown Fleet Feet was overall a good experience! The downsides are parking and limited shoe availability. There is no designated parking space. I took about two laps around until I could find a parking space relatively close by. Definitely will be back to check out their accessories and other shoes.
