The halibut tacos tasted fresh, but the beans and rice on the side were a bit underwhelming and could use some improvement. The service was quick, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The highlight, though, was the incredible view from the bar, with beautiful scenery overlooking the water and the mountains. Overall, a great experience, and I'd definitely come back.

We ordered 1 lb of king crab, the halibut fish tacos, and I paired my meal with an Alaskan Amber beer. Everything we came for was excellent. The king crab was fresh, sweet, and cooked perfectly. The halibut tacos were flavorful, with generous portions of fish, and the Alaskan Amber was the perfect local beer to go with the meal. The beans and rice that came with the tacos, however, were just okay. I didn't have high expectations for the sides, and they were pretty forgettable compared to the quality of the seafood. One thing that surprised us was how busy the restaurant was. It's a bit of a walk down the wharf, so I expected smaller crowds, but the place was packed. Despite arriving around 8:40 p.m., well past the peak dinner rush, we were seated without any issues. Even though they were still serving a full restaurant with other parties waiting, we never felt rushed, which we really appreciated. If you're in Juneau and craving fresh seafood, I'd definitely recommend making the walk. The king crab and halibut are absolutely worth it.

We ordered (2) Combo #1 ($104/ea), which included one Red King Crab leg, crab bisque, four crab cakes, and a roll with butter. Drinks are extra. Be prepared for a wait! The line was extremely long, stretching all the way toward the visitor center. It took us about 30 minutes to reach the counter and order. There was plenty of staff working, though, and everything moved along pretty smoothly. One fun touch: when you order, they ask for your name and where you're from. When your food is ready, they call out your name and city/state or country while looking for where you're seated. It was pretty cool hearing where everyone was visiting from. The inside has a fun fishing village atmosphere with plenty of seating, although most of the tables are shared. The staff was friendly and did a great job cleaning tables immediately after people finished, keeping things moving. Now for the food, it was amazing! Some of the best crab we've ever eaten. The King Crab was fantastic, the bisque was rich and flavorful with big chunks of crab throughout, and the crab cakes were delicious as well. Just know going in that it's expensive. Two Combo #1s, one soda, and tip came to $230.36. It's definitely a splurge, but when you're visiting Alaska and want some incredible King Crab, this is the place to do it. We would absolutely eat here again!

It gave you a taste of a couple of things, bisque, mini crab cakes and king crab leg. It was plenty of food and it was good. My wife had the pulled pork bowl and we did share snow crab queso. There is not table service and most likely you will be sharing a table with someone but the experience and food was awesome. Highly recommend this place in Juneau which is near the cruise ship dock.
