    The Devils Margarita! Delicious
    scott m.

After checking out the good reviews this restaurant had, we decided to give it a try for a birthday celebration. The location was easy to find in a small strip mall and plenty of parking available. Immediately upon walking in the place looked clean and tidy, something that is very important. We were immediately greeted and asked if we'd like any beverages. We also requested chips and salsa, as well as a side of queso dip. The chips were fresh, the green salsa was delicious and we all loved the queso dip. The cocktails arrived shortly after the chips. One was a Cucumber Smash and the other was the Devil's Margarita. Both drinks were delicious and nicely presented, as well as VERY potent. Our lunches arrived in a timely manner, with two of us ordering the chile relleno and I had the Enchiladas Duran. My enchiladas were filled with freshly shredded chicken and a tangy chipotle sauce. The chile rellenos came with rice and beans and both enjoyed theirs. We all commented on how fresh and inventive the foods were and that we did't leave with the bloated feeling after a large Mexican meal. Although we live about an hour away, we vow to return and try other things on the menu. Don't sleep on this place!

We stopped in for lunch and the restaurant was empty except for a couple in the bar. No water or chips and salsa. The restaurant did not have a Mexican flare minus the large stuffed pepper in the bar. The furniture and decor is modern and plain. Easy listening music was not Hispanic. The waiter took our order chips & salsa $4.50, Enchiladas Duran (no rice and beans, relleno with 2 choice of sides, tortillas, ice tea and Pepsi. It took a while to get the chips. Drinks came much later while my friend half choked on the chips. Again, no water. The enchiladas had a lovely presentation but they were cold. The sauce was thin and cold. Obviously they did not heat the plate. The relleno was ok but it would have been nice if the pepper skin was peeled. Again, the plate was cold. The carnitas taco was yummy. Taco was only $2 taco Tuesday special. Next time we will go for the tacos only and request water. Overall, the lunch was disappointing.

Beans & chips- better way to start meal than chips and salsa!

What a lovely spot for a mix of Hispanix flavors! Serving was enough for two and flavors were truly delectable! It's not your typical chips and salsa place but rather dine and enjoy good conversation. I didn't order a drink but bar and drink menu looked good too. Definitely coming back!

    Steak Fajitas

Just grabbing a quick Steak Fajitas to go and like most Mexican restaurants, everything comes with beans and rice which I love but at the same time, I am battling glucose levels so the option to choose my 4 sides is invaluable to me. So got the beans, skipped the rice (had already done a carb load earlier in the day) and the food was excellent! The place is new but the interior was really nice; simple, clean understated but inviting. Will need to revisit when I have the time to really enjoy a meal.

Overall OK, but would t recommend. I ordered the Chips and Queso as an appetizer, and an el pastor burrito as an entree (that day's special). The queso was good and had nice flavor. Extra hot sauce / salsa available by request. The burrito was OK, but presentation left something to be desired. Pineapple was included, as is traditional with el pastor, but it was big chunks straight out of a can.

Found an authentic Mexican Restaurant near QFC on Yelm Highway. Called Kasita Krec's fantastic food, family owned. Highly recommend, great for couples or large gatherings.

    $4.50 chips and salsa

We have gone here twice now. The staff is very friendly and the space is classy. We did not care for the music at all! It did not fit the ambience. It was loud and it was like old rock or something. The first time we ordered chicken fajitas which comes with 4 sides of your choice and chicken enchilada duran. The fajitas were very bland unfortunately, but the chicken duran was very tasty and unique. The chicken in the enchiladas was not tender and required a knife to cut. This second time we came we ordered the chicken enchilada duran again and the chicken enchilada suizas. The chicken was tough again on both and the sauce was cold. The sauce on both enchiladas was absolutely amazing though!! We loved it. We also ordered chips and salsa this time and were definitely not disappointed in the taste. I've been told that their carne asada items are tender and very flavorful.

Amazing service. Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. Try the posole or menudo. My favorite is the tacos birria and the bulldog burrito.

Cozy atmosphere. There were 3 employees that night, the woman who initially waited on us actually appeared to roll her eyes when we ordered. She seemed pretty rushed and just didn't want to work that night or something. The bartender was friendly and came for our second round and he actually seemed more welcoming and friendly. The drinks menu is a bit small (compared to other nearby bars). We got 5 drinks, one espresso one which wasn't great and the rest were alright. Nothing that made us go "Oh man, try that!" but they weren't bad either. The food, looks better than normal bar food, which I loved. We ordered "Balls of Gibralter" - North African meatballs, which were *SO GOOD*, so delicious EXCEPT the texture. The flavors were all amazing, but it was as if there was too much egg and not enough breadcrumbs because it gave the impression of being wildly undercooked, even though you could see no pink. If they were firmer, they would've been perfect. They seem to have a rotating grilled cheese special I wouldn't mind checking out next time. The ambiance-lovely. Dry and hard and without much life left in it. You could have found something like it out there among the sagebrush after a long summer and not been surprised. I used A.1. A man should never have to use A.1 on a steak. There are things a man accepts and there are things he should not accept. But I had paid for the steak and I was hungry. So I used it. The vegetables were sautéed in something that had met teriyaki sauce and had liked the meeting. They tasted of teriyaki. Everything tasted of teriyaki. The vegetables had no other plans. I ordered an Old Fashioned. The bartender made it like a man who had been trained to pour things that came already mixed. He did not make the drink so much as release it from its bottle and put it in front of me. I drank it. It was not an Old Fashioned I would remember. The servers were having a good time. There was a reunion going on near the bar. Maybe school friends. Maybe people who had worked there before. Maybe both. They were happy to see one another. They had more interest in their friends than they did in the man trying to fight his dinner for any semblance of enjoyment. The room was trying to be two things. It wanted to be a golf course clubhouse where men could talk about their scores and the price of things. It also wanted to be a working man's place where nobody cared what your score was. It had the look of both. It belonged to neither. Outside, the last light was leaving the golf course. The fairways went dark first and then the trees. A cart moved slowly across the distance with its lights on. Inside, the reunion was still going on. I stood for a moment and watched the cart disappear into the dark. Then I went to the car. There are good evenings on a golf course. This experience felt more akin to a bad night at an Applebees.
