I was also informed that they don't do house calls, despite their website saying they do ("on-site: we come to you", "We offer onsite computer repair and networking services to both commercial and residential customers"). I suggested that if this was no longer the case, customers would appreciate having the most accurate information, so a website update would be useful. I received no response to that suggestion. In addition, their "Laptop Services" page says "will be updated soon" (https://www.windcomputing.com/laptop_repair.html). Initial communication with any business establishes the point of reference for professionalism and attention to detail. In this case, my interaction with them was illustrative, and I will look elsewhere for my computer repair needs. Update: Since the owner attempted to discredit the integrity of my review, I am attaching our full email correspondence (4 emails), for folks to judge for themselves. It is clearly visible that nowhere in his emails did he give me a price for house visits or offered the drop-off as an alternative, but rather simply told me he didn't do house visits. No, I don't own any businesses, so no conflict of interest. I am an everyday, normal potential customer who doesn't appreciate being called a liar.
