Kasai was a great way to end a lovely vacation. We ordered three four piece sushi rolls, ramen each, and I tried the Apple Sali Martini. The audio was fun: Mikado Maki, Banana Maki, and Caribe Maki. My sister and I liked the Banana Maki the best of the three. Tonkotsu is one of my favorite ramen dishes, so it was nice to see that it was available here. Very good. 1. Service was great. 2. If you come with your kids, they have high chairs, but they don't have a changing table in the bathroom, which if you don't need it that's fine. 3. If you are a ramen fun, don't order the ramen here. They are not hand- made noddles, just like the packaged noodles you can buy over the grocery store. 4. Sushi was good. I enjoyed this place. We sat outside. The shrimp noodle stir fry was soooo good. The tofu salad too. I wouldn't order the udon again, and I'm usually a huge fan, it just wasn't good. The spring rolls were a little fishy (granted I'm vegetarian sometimes pescatarian). Sushi was ok, we had a yummy roll and some other ok ones. Service was great. We went to this restaurant because our city bus driver said it was his favorite Sushi place (1-2-20). It is located in the Marriott (inside dining) and sits behind the Sasi Thai (outside dining). We came hungry so we ordered a ton of Sushi! Such an elegant restaurant outside of the Marriott hotel. We were greeted with the nicest waiter and the vibes were romantic! My drink came with a heart on the straw ( so cute) . Definitely a beautiful place And the service is very welcoming. Music and ambience Is nice, just not Japanese at all. Sadly nothing else in this place was worth of a comment. Actually mostly everything we eat disappointed. From a very salty ramen soup, to some of the worst mochi deserts I have ever had. The whole experience was between weirdly tasty sushi to very weird looking tuna. My advise, Do not loose your time if you are looking for a great culinary experience, specially if you have love for this cuisine. If you are hungry and don't care, well, maybe. I wanted to like this place, but at the end of our meal, we were left still wanting more sushi but not from here. Cravings were not satisfied, and their seafood ramen was not good. I appreciated the server asking for any dietary restrictions, which are dairy-free. So we ordered a bunch of sashimi (tuna and salmon), those were actually not too bad (for three stars). The sushi rolls were smaller, and I think we came here at the wrong time as two guys were smoking a freakin cigarette inside the restaurant (I mean, I would've kicked those guys out), but the server or manager just told them to put it out. Maybe we just ordered the wrong rolls. But they were just ok, but do not order the seafood ramen. Haha read more

Do Not Eat Here! I expected it to be a nice Japanese place. The food was horrible: the chicken teriyaki was like little pieces of ground turds that we're previously frozen. No one ate them. Could have got better ones at Costco. The dumplings were like cardboard with some strange sausage inside. The tempura was nasty, not crunchy and mostly soggy. In all honesty, the only thing that was decent was the Udon and noodle bowls. I DO NOT RECOMMEND and this will be remembered as our worst meal of our trip. read more

Worst sushi I've ever had and I've had plenty of grocery store gas station sushi. Not only that the Ramen was a step up from $0.20 ramen packet. Nothing tasted fresh. The service was good but can't make up for shitty Japanese food. I recommend pop tarts instead and save your money. As one of the reviewers opined, this is not a Japanese restaurant (I should add that is not a ramen house in particular). Should have taken the advice from this reviewer, however rest of my family don't want to venture out of Marriott (where this restaurant is located) so just want to have some ramen and call it a day. However the ramen here is so bad that I couldn't finish it even if I was still hungry. Seriously! The broth is tasteless, the ramen itself is not the real ramen noodle, but more like instant noodle and over cooked. Other ingredients such as bamboo shoots are also way off. The reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that there is a young pretty lady playing sax at the premises (actually at the neighboring Thai restaurant which added some nice ambiance, hence the one additional star. Horrible service. Took 40 mins to get food when we came in at 9pm. Asked for water 3 times which also took 40 mins to get. Food is mediocre at best. Don't get nigiri and opt for sashimi. Yaki udon, definitely not udon noodles and felt like expensive chow mein. I'd just in general choose elsewhere. Even if they just opened, there is no excuse for bad service as I kept seeing my waiter stand by the counter laughing with his coworkers. read more
