This is probably one of the best restaurants in the world when you factor in the value of what you get for the price. If you ate here every day you could be a very healthy person.
The meats are amazingly fresh, and the portions are a very good size. The quality is absolutely outstanding, in general, but for the Philippines, it's on another level, it is really in a class of its own. There's only a handful of other places in Manila with a similar attention to detail, and especially, with similar quality red meat.
I wish there was a Karnevore back in America.
I'm a member of private dining clubs that cost anywhere from 9,500 pesos a year to 8,000 pesos a month, and the food at Karnevore is equivalent, and in some cases better, than at those clubs. It's just much healthier and a better value for what you get.
I go to another Karnevore also, by the Ronac Art Center, and it's just as good. Karnevore recently started offering franchise opportunities, and I just hope that in my lifetime, one of these comes to Austin, TX or any other city I am living in. It's very difficult to find healthy, amazing, delicious food in restaurants anywhere in the world, but even more so in the Philippines. Most of the food in restaurants here in the Philippines is a bunch of cheap carbs or fried junk that kills you slowly or at least makes your mind less sharp and your body malnourished. Most restaurants, everywhere, serve the lowest quality ingredients at the highest price they can sell it for, but not Karnevore, this restaurant is a rare exception to that, with high quality at a low price.
If you want to eat like this, you usually have to cook it yourself, but Karnevore managed to bring this to the market, and incredibly, at such an inexpensive price for such high quality. It's perfect for those of us that value quality, delicious nutrition. This is the kind of food you want to eat if you want to always be in a balanced mood, to make good personal and financial decisions. read more
