Mamou Too is okay. Prime Rib is my all time favorite. Unfortunately, this was a letdown. Maybe my standard for prime rib is too high, but this was a very oily dish and the soufflé felt stale. The meat itself is fine and some parts of the rib was cooked properly. We ordered medium rare but it came out a bit too dry for it to be medium rare. It was perfectly salted though, but the amount of oil beneath the meat was a bit too much for me. It was greasy, unlike any of the prime rib I've had. The soufflé was crunchier than it was soft which was unusual. The lamb was fine. Salty and tasted very Filipino. It was better than the rib for sure. The temperature was right too where it was medium rare. I suppose this was the highlight dish of the night. We also had their truffle pasta. It was decent. It was dry which I like. The truffle was aromatic, but I was hoping for it to have more flavor. It was a bit bland but acceptable. Maybe this dish would be better with more truffle oil mixed with mushrooms. I wouldn't say it's that bad but it's not that good either. Would I go back? I'm not too sure.

The bacon steak was surprisingly juicy and tender. Bloody mamou though not the usual presentation, it was pretty the same taste. Definitely the al fresco is a good place to hangout. Ordered arrived fast as there were not much people. Recommended.

This place was amazing. I do recommend making a reservation or else you might end up sitting outside. Fortunately, there are fans to make it better. I found this place on Yelp and it was perfect because we wanted to visit Rockwell and Power Plant and Mamou Too is located outside of Power Plant. The service is great. The servers are very attentive. They do try to make your experience a good one. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to get a seat outside. Although not ideal, we were able to sit near a fan. Also, this restaurant is more high end so don't expect to pay under $50 for 2 people. We ordered the twin ribeye, Lorenzo's truffle pasta, creamed spinach, corn pudding and dark chocolate sans rival. The ribeye was amazing and went well with the truffle pasta!!!!! Those are definitely 2 items you should order. I didn't care much for the spinach, but the corn was good. I also didn't really like the sans rival, but everything else was really good.

It's not Peter Luger, it doesn't need to be. Mamou brings a certain comfort and hold's it's own not only for their steaks but the quality of service and professionalism the staff gives you. A pleasant dining experience indeed will definitely be back.

8 of us enjoyed our dinner here tonight. We shared the sausage and cheese, special spring rolls, and fried thin sliced pork for appetizer, besides 2 kinds of dinner rolls. We also shared the soft shell crab salad, porterhouse steak and truffle carbonara spaghetti, and combinations of pork, chicken, and rice for mains. No dessert as we were very full already. Very good ambiance and extraordinary service from the start till the end. A must visit when in Manila. $$$

Considering the service remain good level, I actually think the food here is less good as BGC.

Finished a quick course at Rockwell. Everyone is in a celebratory mood so we devoured the Lorenzo's truffle cream, Angus Ribeye steak, and crispy milk for dessert. Service is upright and good value for money.

To die for Angus Ribeye USDA Prime Grade Steak.

Craving for steak and want to eat in a place that always gets it right? Head over to Mamou Too in Rockwell (or Mamou in Serendra) for that satisfying steak you've been craving for. I personally like the Angus Ribeye USDA Prime Grade Steak cooked medium with rock salt spread on each bite. Pair it with your choice of carbs: steak rice, or any of my two favorite pastas - Spaghetti Al Olio with Labuyo Flakes (if you like salty and spicy oil pasta) or Lorenzo's Truffle Cream (if you like creamy pasta). Personally, I find it's more enjoyable to eat in Mamou with a small group so that you can order all these dishes and a bottle of wine and just share everything. Finish off your meal with their New York Cheesecake or Key Lime Pie for dessert. Note that Mamou is open only for lunch and dinner so it won't be open in case you have your cravings in the middle of the day. ;)

The layout and offerings pretty much mirror what's offered in the US. The only unavailable item is the Cactus blossom (fried onion bloom). Instead, they offer onion frizzles as a substitute. A few things to mention. You will experience sticker shock due to the fact that: #1.) Steak is hard to come by in the Philippines (could be a cultural thing) and #2.) Expect the meat cuts to be rather thin. #3.) Drinks are not as boozy. My husband ordered a Raspberry Margarita and although it had great flavor, the booze was lacking. Flavor is definitely present but for the price Americans pay for steak versus the Philippines, there is a high premium.

Also got the steak and was served without any A1 sauce. Server was way too concerned about cleaning the table when we were done- we paid our bill and were still seated and the guy already started clearing the table, grabbing our plates as it passed by our faces. As a side note, while eating our dinner, they seated a party of 6 in a booth that can only seat 4 and I saw the group looked annoyed that they're elbow to elbow in their seat that they themselves asked the server to move them to a bigger table. Poor customer service and to top it off, the food was meh.

It was a very nice place, as you might imagine, a restaurant and bar on the 30th floor of a luxury hotel in BGC. It had a sort of American whiskey cowboy theme, though with the golden grandeur of the Shangri-La. The bar was pretty quiet at 10:00 on a Saturday night. Other than our table, the only guests I noticed were a very old white man and his very young Asian escort, who I do hope was being paid handsomely for her time. Service was polite and attentive, and we enjoyed a relaxing round to mark the end of our trip. My friend Nick L. was kind enough to buy. We got snack buckets of spiced popcorn when we sat down, then ordered ourselves some cocktails from the book-sized leather-bound menu. I had the Last Runner, a complicated milk punch with black and white rum, jasmine green tea, pineapple juice, passionfruit, milk, and calamansi juice. It was quite boozy and delicious, garnished with a charred slice of pineapple. I also admired my friend Bong C.'s Cowboy Old Fashioned, with Raging Bull bourbon, sherry wine, and vanilla. It came in a giant glass bottle filled with smoke, and he poured it himself into the accompanying old fashioned glass. We hung out for an hour then went to sleep, and I left for the airport the next morning. I had a great time in Manila thanks to my travel mates, and I was glad for this one last drink at Raging Bull.

The view and ambiance are nice, but I am not here to discuss cosmetics. I want to highlight a poorly managed restaurant that has the potential to be something to rave about. I ordered the Black Truffle Risotto with chicken breast served with mushrooms and parmesan shavings. My daughter ordered the Sirloin Steak with fries. It took 30 minutes for my Risotto to be served, and surprise! It was cold and rather disgusting. The Risotto was bland, and the consistency was like overcooked oatmeal. There were 3 small pieces of mushroom and a chunk of rancid cheese that was supposed to be the "shaved parmesan". The worst part of my experience was nearly breaking my molar on a bone in the chicken breast. The server stated he would check with the chef and later returned with the most idiotic excuse I have ever heard. "Sir, the boneless piece of chicken breast sometimes has chick bones." This is not at all fully incorrect, as a poorly cut or inspected piece of chicken may be served with unintentional pieces of bones, but this was the size of a chicken wing drum bone. You would figure a manager or chef would visit the table with a correction or apology, but the manager just sat behind the bar flipping receipts. My daughter placed her order at the same time I did and ordered the sirloin steak with truffle french fries. Special instructions were given to the waitress that no salt or pepper was to be added, as my daughter likes to season on her own. Simple and direct. After my horrible food experience, I followed up with the waitress as 45 minutes had passed and no food had been delivered to my daughter. She advised me that she would go check, but never returned. This is the messed-up part. One of the people on my table ordered the all-you-can-eat steak option and, to test the kitchen, ordered one with no salt and pepper. His steak came out way before my daughter's food. An hour and 15 minutes had passed, and I was completely upset as we had never received her food. I watched a waiter try to sneak behind me and deliver my daughter's food. I immediately jumped up and checked her food. It was cold, overcooked, and over-seasoned. It took the kitchen an hour and a half to make a messed-up steak. I told them to leave it because I wanted to pay for the right to write this review. The manager did not bother to leave the bar area and sat back, expressing his frustrations to the employees. I was trying to understand why he refused to step up and help his employees. I believe leaders/managers should lead by example and own the responsibility for their employees' actions or inactions. I guess Discover Suites and 22 Prime have a different idea of leadership ethos. As I sat back completely upset and disgusted, waiting for my party to finish their food, a man who was identified as the general manager of the hotel/restaurant walked in, and I kindly introduced myself and asked if I could speak with him about my experience at 22 Prime. He said yes and began speaking with someone else on the opposite side of our table. I later noticed he slipped around the back to avoid me and exited from the back of the restaurant. I am going to maintain my professionalism and not address his level of cowardice in this review, but attribute it again to the Discover Suites management's ethos. 3 other families attended dinner with us that night and placed their order, but never received their food. Some of them had to order GRAB to get a Jollibee chicken delivered because it was the only thing open at that time. One of the families had the food sent to their room, and it was delivered cold and disgusting. I felt extremely bad for these families as they had smaller children with them. The worst part was that the restaurant charged them for the poor quality food. A few days later, I received an invitation to attend a "make-up dinner" hosted by the hotel management for the people who were impacted by their lack of quality service. I appreciate any attempt to rectify a bad experience, but the presented dinner was set, cooked in advance, and fell far from exemplary. I will respectfully bite my tongue and delete the details from this dinner. I was expecting a representative from the hotel/restaurant management to at least do a small presentation or give an apology to the families. This, of course, did not happen and reinforces my opinion of the Discovery Suites management ethos. I stayed in the hotel for over a week and noticed that this restaurant was never full. Given all the great reviews and location, I would expect this place to be packed every night. Note to readers: I apologize if this review offends you or contradicts your personal experiences with this establishment. My review is based on factual events and intertwined with my opinions. Thank you for reading, and I hope
