They offer amazing classes here! Each instructor I had has been great and I walk out feeling even better :)

I've been to a few classes here now. Both Lagree and mat Pilates. Overall, the experience has been positive. The workouts are good, and a reasonable amount of credits on ClassPass. The Lagree classes are a great workout. They are a bit fast paced, and can be hard to jump into for the first few times you go. The instructors have been helpful and will usually give first timers a run down on the machine before class if you get there early. The hot mat Pilates classes are also a good workout, and I've enjoyed the instructors. My only complaint is the equipment for the mat classes. The ankle weights have very weak Velcro, and I've yet to make it through a class without them falling off. The hand weights are also very "aesthetic" but they roll around when you set them down. And they use fabric booty bands, which doesn't seem the most sanitary when you think about how sweaty people get during the classes. Overall a good studio, and I'll definitely be back for more classes. read more

I really did enjoy the workout, but unfortunately I do have to give it a three just based on the music that was played. Every single song was completely vulgar, talking about every inch of a woman's body in such an aggressive manner not really what I wanna hear when I'm trying to feel like an empowered female. I get it-This is what people are listening to now, I like a pump it up song as much as the next person, but for being a place called karma-With a name like "Karma," I expected the atmosphere to feel positive, welcoming, and maybe even a little elevated. Unfortunately, the music being played was extremely vulgar, offensive, and completely out of line with the essence of what the name suggests. The overall music set a harsh vibe versus a pump it up, empowered or relaxing tone. I would hope management reconsiders the type of music they allow, especially if they want the environment to reflect anything close to the meaning of "Karma." read more

The studio was cute, and I loved the lights in the workout room. The workout was overall worth the money. However it smelled strong of urine when I walked in the studio, I'm not sure if they do puppy yoga or something. The studio is definitely meant for influencers. They even have a phone holder next to each of the reformers, and you will see a lot of girls recording. If you are looking for a more lowkey studio and not be filmed by others in the class, I would look elsewhere. read more

I had a great experience at Karma Studio while visiting from Colorado. I usually do reformer Pilates, so this was my first time trying Lagree, and I ended up loving it. The classes are definitely fast-paced at first, but once you get used to the flow, it's an amazing workout. I liked it so much that I was going 3-4 times a week during my stay. One thing I really appreciated was how knowledgeable and supportive the instructors were. I have a knee injury and was able to let them know ahead of time they were great about offering modifications and making sure I felt comfortable and safe throughout class. The studio itself is very well run. Check-in is smooth and organized, the space is clean and welcoming, and everyone I interacted with was genuinely kind. They also have cute accessories for sale, and I loved that they sometimes host vendors from the wellness space things like energy drinks or other products you can try, which is a fun touch. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in Scottsdale again. Highly recommend if you're curious about Lagree or looking to switch things up from traditional reformer Pilates. read more

Took my first class at Karma Studios yesterday -- a Barre class in the afternoon with I believe her name was Sara -- and wow, what an amazing experience! Sara is an incredible instructor: super motivating, clear in her cues, and brought great energy to the class. The workout was challenging in all the right ways, and I loved the mix of movement and music. The instructor really had an influence on how well the workout went and it was winning. The studio itself is beautiful -- modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. It definitely has the kind of vibe that makes you want to keep coming back. Only downside was that the front desk staff didn't feel super welcoming for a first-timer, which stood out a bit. But once in class, the overall vibe was positive and fun. Looking forward to trying out more classes like Lagree and Hot Yoga in this cool space! read more

Every class with every instructor is a hit, they're great at cueing, and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. Heated mat Pilates with the bala equipment which I love just being your own mat but everything is available if you need/forget. A good vibe overall. Only thing is they don't have showers which is fine just a heads up! read more

Whatever you do don't sign up for Madeline's class. Not only does it feel like a circus in there bc her instructions are very unclear on top of being rude. She doesn't ask if anyone has any injuries or needs any modifications. Not even if it's okay touching people. Instead she takes pride and let everyone know that she's considered one of the "hardest instructors" here. But what she really means is that she is rude and doesn't care about you and what you need to do what she's saying to do right it away or she's going to have an issue with you and give you attitude in front of everybody. This is supposed to be a happy fun space that is welcoming. People come here after their long days of work to decompress and unwind. She's the worst person to have in this time slot she's not a people person, she's VERY passive aggressive, it makes you never wanna come back and uncomfortable. I've only taken about two weeks of her classes and now I never wanna come back just bc of her. Not to mention she doesn't even know how to check people in or she's using weaponized incompetence. She marked me and my friend absent and we got charged for her class even though we showed up sadly, we don't even want to take it honestly bc it was her class but it fit our time slot and she was still so incompetent she shouldn't even do the lowest job there. Makes sense why her classes feel like I have a blind fold on and are barely full. Word of advice to management there if you want to keep the karma reputation, I'd reconsider having her on your team all together. read more

First time trying Karma, I've heard a lot about it and used ClassPass to try it. The front desk ladies did not feel very welcoming, especially as a first timer where I knew nothing about where to go, and what we needed. They have 2 bathrooms but no shower unfortunately. I was also given no guidance about what was needed for the class like weights, a ball, ankle Weights, bands, etc. Neither the front desk nor the teacher mentioned anything about what you needed for the class. Luckily I looked around and grabbed what everyone else had, but a good studio should always tell you what you need for a class. I did a Hot mat Pilates class, and forget the instructors name, but the workout itself was great and a good push. Sweat more than I do in hot yoga so I know now to bring a Hot yoga towel to cover my mat since It got very slippery very quick. I do like the aesthetic of the studio, they make it like an upscale, modern, clean studio. Just felt that the workers and some of the people here were not very welcoming or friendly which was unfortunate. read more

Absolutely love Karma! Small classes and more of them. There is always a class available to attended. I love Autumn and Alex for sculpt! They pump me up and literally kick my butt. I love the full body workouts and mat Pilates with Megan as well. Since joining I go multiple times a week and I look forward to it. read more

My fav studio in Scottsdale! The workout: they have so many different types of classes and so many class times so there's something for everyone. Instructors: All instructors are great, but my favorites are Taylor and Jackie for Lagree, and Alex and Makayla for Sculpt! All their playlists Vibes: The vibes are great and so much fun. There's truly nothing like being in a neon purple room with ying yang twins blasting at 7am on a Tuesday Love all the pop-ups they do; I've gotten tattoos, permanent jewelry, and coffee after my workouts there! Love the community they're cultivating there! read more

Came here for a lagree class and I wish I had a studio like karma closer to me! Everything was great... the cleanliness, their cute socks for sale, the easy parking, their instructor. I will definitely come by whenever in the area! read more

I really like karma. I have only been to their barre class and then heated sculpt but have really liked them both. Only negative thing I will say is that the equipment like the ankle weights and hand weights can be gross. Try to reach for the ones at the bottom that haven't been used in the previous class. Since majority of their classes are heated they are usually drenched in sweat from the previous class and can smell bad. They do have wipes though so you can wipe them down again before using but it's hard with the ankle weights as they are a weird material. All of the instructors I've had in this class are so great though and the classes are incredibly affordable through ClassPass. Like on average 3-5 credits! read more

I've done a couple different types of classes here and have enjoyed all of them! The staff and instructors are always kind and informative! As a beginner everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful! read more

Took my first class here, wanted to use my ClassPass but it was sold out so paid the $15 for a 50 minute hot yoga class. I am a very experienced yogi and also a certified yoga teacher so I do admit to being very picky. I will come back to probably try a different type of class. Studio is very pretty, the studios are across from one another down a long hallway. This makes it congested when classes are back to back. No showers just two gender neutral bathrooms. The front desk was great, no issues but definitely not a ton of info given beyond where the studio was and a class was still in session. Let's talk about the class, they only use heat and I liked it got a good sweat on for sure. Tatum the instructor needs to either use a mic or speak up. She was hard to understand. She admitted she has only been teaching a year. She didn't know the generic names of some poses. Totally fine but if you are looking for a sun A and sun B vinyasa this was not it. All in all not bad but not worth the drive for me. I live in the NE Mesa. read more
