I now have a 4 month old Vizsla (Rouge) who is as independent as can be. I was confident in myself and hopeful our training togher would go just as well as Sadie. Well, I think I met my match with Rouge. I had attempted all I could with her and decided to get some help. That's when I reached out to Karma. They put me in touch with Miranda for a consultation. We had a great conversation during which I shared with her the challenges i was facing with our training and the outcomes I for which I was hoping. Miranda shared her perspectives of my situation and how she would approach training with Rouge - her methods, marker words, and more. After just one conversation with Miranda, I was comfortable and confident that she would be a great trainer and handler of my sweet pup. It seemed that the best plan for Rouge would be a board and train program so I had Rouge stay with Miranda for a 12-day board and train session. Those twelve days go by (boy was I missing my little pup) and Rouge came back to me, just as excited as ever but something was different. After her typical puppy excitement of seeing me subsided, she was so attentive, calm and engaged with me. Miranda then spent the next hour walking me through what she and Rouge had worked on and the characteristics she had learned about Rouge while they were together. The best part, though, was that Miranda taught not only my pup, but also taught me how to adjust my approach and behavior around Rouge. She shared invaluable advice and pointers that were vital for me to continue training and building my relationship with Rouge. I can't say enough praises about Miranda from Karma and would not hesitate to have her spend more time with Rouge. To be honest, I'm already planning and looking forward to another board and train session with Miranda.

She turned a year and was still difficult on a leash, jumping on guests, and very high energy. I didn't want to leave her somewhere for them to train. I wanted to train her. I saw a dog walking in the park and it was sooo well mannered, I rolled down the window and asked. Next day had a free evaluation with Mindy and that was the beginning of getting my dream dog. She went 4 days and I picked her up at the end of the day for my training. We are currently in our year long group classes and both Lucy and I look forward each class. We are out in real life situations to continue our progress. There are not words to express how thankful I am to all trainers we have worked with!!! Mindy and crew are the absolute best!

Training was a joke. What was meant to take 5 weeks took well over two months. Cancelled lessons on me the day of and even hours before constantly for personal plans. When I reached out about my issues with training I met with another trainer because it was agreed the training needed to be started over. We had one training session before I started working two jobs. I reached out and asked for a refund since I would no longer be able to do repeat training. Owner was supposed to call me but instead chose to text which shows how unprofessional they are. They insisted there would be no refund and my only option was repeat training. They were rude and condescending and completely unwilling to help or work with me. I asked for a copy of the contract I signed which does not say anything about no refunds. They told me that since their trainer had already been paid they couldn't help me. Unreal. The reason I signed up when I did was because I had just gotten my puppy and wanted to start training ASAP. I was unemployed at the time so the expense for training was a big one, but I believed it to be worth it as I had hopes for this dog to be a therapy dog. I had plenty of time then to go to training and work with her at home. With my new schedule for work everything would be far too disruptive. The contract I signed even states that for best results, things need to be completed in a timely manner. However the owner of the company tried to tell me even if the trainings were spaced out over a year it would be fine. I would have been better off watching YouTube videos and working from those.

We have a male lab that is very hyper and attention needing, male german shepard husky mix that is gentle but needs guidance, then a mixed lab husky female that is very passive aggresive. Alice has helped to get all of them to come when told, sit, lay and the best thing in the world OFF. She taught us as well the correct way to continue to work them now that our regular sessions are over. We did 4 sessions in a month with her and it has been the best thing for all of us. Let me be frank, if my pup was not good, it was not sugar coated. She let me know what needed work and also what they were doing well and seeing improvements. On pick up day, we walked to the local park and practiced the commands and learned how to properly use the tools that she used to our advantage. I highly recommend Savannah for anyone who wants to really invest in their pups well being. She made sure to teach manners and not go against the dogs personality (ex. Winston's version of down is front first vs the normal butt first). She isn't a "one and done" for our pup, we still have homework or else the pup may revert back. After getting our Goldendoodle, we could tell he was much more energetic than our last who had…read morepassed. We knew we wanted to get him into training but were in the middle of a move. We called Brian when he was 8 months old and I only wish we had started sooner. After 6 sessions, we could walk our puppy without him pulling and he would sit immediately if we stopped walking. We are now a few weeks into off leash training and are looking so forward to having a dog that will listen off leash. Brian is fantastic with our dog and does a great job teaching us how to train him as well!

Ok. I screwed up. About 15 years ago I met Brian and he trained us and a very rambunctious Black…read moreLab mix. This dog was out of control, living on the streets and absolutely no manners. He is now a very fond memory of a wonderful pet and companion. We lost him to cancer about 4 years ago. The Way I messed up is with our current 7.7 pound 15 month old Pomeranian. We attempted to train him using Lucky Dog training in Keller. We tried obedience, manners and zen classes. As he completed each of these classes our goal was to get him into agility. We were assured he was ready for agility based on the instructor's recommendations. Our first Agility teacher was patient and very good with our little man. Our second agility instructor was very good at agility course work but was terrible at teaching him or us behavior techniques. Mind you the techniques we learned in the previous classes only worked minimally at best. It all came to a head when we were given very strict instructions as to not come to class early, remove him from the training area when he was not in the ring; all in a text message. No phone call until the decision was made to remove him from the program. The excuse was that the trainer was busy. If they had enough time to send a text, a phone call would have been quicker and we might have been able to come to a compromise. We had no clue that this was coming. We had concerns but no way given help to deal with our dog. After a call from the owner it was decided our dog was no longer welcome. In Desperation, I called Brian and explained the situation. He was overwhelming willing to help. In the approximately 6 weeks since the occurrence at Luck Dog, Brian has our little man in line and he is much easier to take in public. I venture to say he will be a wonderful dog in short order. Brian accomplished more in six weeks than Lucky Dog training was able to accomplish in five months. You cannot go wrong with using this man.

Also they pushed the very expensive "board and train" option to us multiple times even when we said we didn't want that. We REGRET trying this place! Taylor and her family are so kind, passionate about that they do, and the entire location reflects all of it, along with the love they have for the dogs in their care. My small dog would not listen to a single command prior to being in training.
