Absolutely love this place!!! The menu has a great variety to suit everyone's tastes and needs; from sushi to crab rangoons, to pad thai. The best! We are trying to make our away around the menu to try to try everything, so this time we had: vegetarian ma po tofu (awesome!), korean entree spicy chicken (it is really spicy! but delicious: come with miso soup and kimchee), spicy tuna roll, alaska tofu, and crab rangoon (the best we've had!!). All amazing. The sushi is really really good. The drinks are too!! Our service was great, so not sure why all the complaints with service. Britney was our waitress and she was awesome. Stopped here today on a whim and I am so glad that I did because the food, the staff, the atmosphere, even the bathroom was amazing (& so clean!). Our waitress, wish that I caught her name was so nice and attentive. She was knowledgeable when I asked what was vegan friendly. The scallion pancakes were so delicious. The spring rolls were good too. And the tofu was perfectly spiced. I would eat here again in a heartbeat! I need to applaud Karma (Tom & Christine) for being so so wonderful. My son has a life threatening allergy to egg and a severe allergy to soy. So why would I bring him to an Asian Fusion restaurant, you ask? Well, great question... We called the restaurant because we were craving sushi. After reassurance from Tom that they can accommodate my son's allergies we decided to try it. They reassured us that they clean the woks in between each order and that they would take extra special care to make sure he was safe. We were given a few options for him (specifically, was told what various dishes had in each and that some could be modified if we wanted). We chose the chicken pad Thai for him and he really enjoyed it. As a parent of a young child with severe allergies, it can be very nerve wracking when going out to eat. I will add the slight language barrier (truthfully, not here) and you just decide a life isn't worth omakase. Honestly, I am so so happy we tried this place. My husband and I went there for dinner on Sunday night and were served by the girl named Lily. She was so rude, unprofessional, unpleasant along with bad attitude. We were placed near the restroom which that happened quite a lots of times that I'd been there. This time we decided to switch table and Lily was talking to her co-worker pointing at the table we were placed and where we were seating with an attitude. Moreover, when we ordered our food, we did not order any alcohol, here it was Lily with the attitude again. Great food. I'm taking 2 stars away - Service can be iffy - servers don't always understand allergies/ sensitivities. I asked for food with no bell peppers, and it came with bell peppers. I sent it back, and could see her removing the bell peppers by the kitchen door. She didn't grasp that I was allergic even after saying it 4 times before and after she brought it. This is the best sushi and Chinese lunch buffet I have ever been to. Lunch buffet all you can eat sushi and Chinese dishes and dessert for only 11.95 per person?! Sign me up pronto. The sushi was incredibly fresh! There was about 12 different sushi roll varieties out for grabs. There was an accompanying sauce set up where you can take wasabi, ginger, and an assortment of sauces. There were lovely sauce dishes to load into as well. Servers were constantly refreshing the lunch buffet dishes which was incredibly satisfying to see. The Chinese food section included about 8-10 main dishes as well as crab rangoons, scallion pancakes and spring rolls! I was blown away by the food quantity, assortment, and quality. Can't tell you how many times my wife and I got takeout from Karma since living to the area 18 months ago. Dozens of times. For a long time, we were so grateful to have them. Best sushi and Asian food in the area as far as we were concerned. I don't know what happened, maybe supply or staffing issues out of their control, maybe poor management decisions, but Karma has gone off a cliff. We're not the only ones who feel this way. The traditional American Chinese food has gone downhill, but it's really the sushi. My wife and I go big on sushi orders and there's nothing worse than spending $100+ on takeout and not wanting to eat it due to quality and texture issues. Add to that, they now always forget sauces/sides and/or provide so little it's laughable. Having to rifle through the bag at the store makes me feel like a jerk but I've driven home to discover missing or short items too many times. We will try Karma again soon to see if it's come back and I will change my review! I hope it will pick it back up. I loved you Karma! read more

OMG!!! So goooooood! My first visit to Karma and it was amazing. Started with the lettuce cups. Great flavor and excellently prepared. Then on to egg rolls. Standard egg rolls but very crispy and tasty. For the entree, I had the schezuan duck. Crispy veggies and very flavorful and tender duck. We also had the General Gau chicken which was very good-could have been a bit more spicy for my taste. Service was top notch and the staff were all very friendly. The restaurant is very well decorated and upscale appearing but the prices were very reasonable. This is my new "go to" for all Asian dishes now. Can't wait to go back and try the sushi. read more

I don't live in Massachusetts. I was in town for work and I was recommended this place. It's in a strip mall and it looks unassuming from the parking lot. BUT.... When I tell you this place is delicious, it's no joke amazingly good! I came twice because I couldn't stop thinking about the fresh flavors. I ordered so much sushi I had an aquarium in my stomach. I am not the only that must love the food here because the first time I came it was jam packed! The wait was long but the food was so good that I can't even take a star away. This was our second time here to try their lunch buffet. Our first visit was a few months after they opened and we were not impressed. We thought we give it another try and still not impressed. Almost everything on the lunch buffet bar was lukewarm, many of the selections were picked through and it didn't seem as though they were replenishing what was empty. I went twice during our lunch to see if their only stir fry mixed vegetable option has been refilled and it wasn't. We were there during peak lunch hours (between noon and 1p) so would assume they'd be refilling empty trays? On the positive side, one of their stir fry beef dishes was very tender and flavorful. Our server was very friendly and attentive to picking up our used dishes but for around $30 for two people including tip and tap water for drinks, you'd hope to leave satisfied but we weren't sadly. read more

I have been to Karma many times at the Westford location. I have been to this location a few times and had very good meals (just like Westford). Last night I ordered Sushi for my wife's birthday to-go since we are in a pandemic. Ordered about $80 worth of sushi, (i2 more rolls than I did a few months back) to ensure we had enough to eat. You can imagine my surprise when I opened the packages and saw only 32 small pieces of sushi. This was amount was very small compared to what we ordered previously a couple months ago. We order 2 less rolls and spent less money and received more sushi??? The quality and the flavor was very good but I was very disappointed at the portions. Additionally, since we could not eat in the restaurant due to COVID-19, it makes it difficult to bring this to the attention of the management at that time. Hence, I am writing this review. It's my second time I've been here and this has to be the most disappointing dish I have gotten at this place. I ordered a appetizer of edamame which was probably the best of this evening. To give some background, Szechuan peppercorns or Huajio is supposed to be spicy. There's a whole province in China that make food just from Szechuan balancing both spicy and savory food while not overpowering it with spice. Even when I asked to make it spicy, it's not spicy at all. This isn't Asian spicy, it's American spicy. There's no spice at all and or it's lacking spice. In terms of their terms of spicy it's like eating black pepper. Pretty disappointed since I was looking for more of having something from my roots. It's not spicy at all.
