The owner was reluctant to cooperate with me and own up to his responsibility. I file a claim against his insurance company Atain insurance company. They came out and trimmed my mango tree, and actually did a pretty good job. When I called him back…read moretwo years later, he remembered my mango tree and we set an appointment to meet at my north shore house. When the date came i had to take off work to drive up to the North Shire to meet with him, however he did not show up at our agreed upon time. When i called him to see if he was late, Jon said he "got busy and forgot to call..." Then Jon joked about missing our previously agreed upon appointment thinking it was no big deal that I had to take off work to drive an hour to go meet him. Very unprofessional. He said hat he would come out and give me a super discount for doing the tree, since he totally flakes on me, so I decided to call him back a few weeks later, he answered the phone, said he was busy and that he call me back, of which, he never did. I proceeded to leave him four other messages over the same number of months and he just keeps ignoring my phone calls, and never return a call, a text message or an email. There are other PLENTY of more reliable tree trimmers out there that will do just as good work and actually be professional and return calls. Really disappointed in Jon and his lack of respect for his customers. It's not the type of service we were looking for and certainly had no respect for our time.

We requested a quote, and within two days they came to our property to assess the work and provided a quote that same day. We also wanted to make sure we were working with a properly insured company, and they promptly sent us a copy of their insurance documentation along with the quote. Once we approved the quote, they were able to fit us into their schedule the following week. Our project was fairly substantial and took three days. We had six large Cook Pines that needed to be trimmed down by about half, as well as several palm trees that had been infested with Coconut Rhinoceros Beetles (CRB) and needed to be completely removed. The crew arrived on time each day and was professional, friendly, and very respectful of our property. They took great care while working around the property and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left each day. Considering the amount of cutting and debris involved in a job of this size, we really appreciated how clean they kept everything. The entire process--from getting the quote through completion of the job--was smooth, professional, and well organized. We were very pleased with the results and would definitely use Espitia's Tree Service again. Highly recommended for any tree service job, whether it's a small trimming project or a large job like ours!
